Virgil's pov
Thump, thump, thump, my feet hit the ground as l ran through the dark forest. I could hear the thing chasing me mixed with the sound of my ears ringing with my heart beat. I tripped...Crap. I turned around and there it was, I screamed.
I sat up in my bed drenched in sweat, crying. I heard a knock at my door and didn't respond. They opened the door anyways. "kiddo you ok i heard some screaming- oh my kiddo are you ok" patton said, "y-ya just a-a bad d-dream" i replied. "ok well how about you go take ashower and clean yourself up, i'll be right here" "o-ok" I got some new clothes and hopped into the shower.The cold water running down my back helping me to calm down. After a few minutes in the shower I got out and went to patton. I sat next to him and cuddled into his chest. "You're safe now don't worry I got you" and with that i fell asleep.
