Third pov

"Where are we going" Lily asked her girlfriend. Right now they were going somewhere but Lily didn't know where. Veronica had wanted to take her out on a surprise date sense she had been overworking herself lately. "I can't tell you or else it wouldn't be a surprise. All you need to know is that we are almost there."

Veronicas pov

I decided to take lily on a surprise date since she has been overworking herself lately.

I have her blind folded so that she can't see where we're going until we get there. I know for a fact that she'll love it. I mean why wouldn't she, it includes everything she loves including me. "Where are we going?" she asked Me.  "I can't tell you or else it wouldn't be a surprise. All you need to know is that we are almost there." I replied to her. "Fine" she said, a little annoyed.

After a little more walking and talking we finally reached the spot I chose for our date. It was an open field and at the end of the field where we were standing was a canopy that had fairy lights strung up all around it.

Under the canopy was a picnic table with a cooler next to it and in front of that outside of the canopy was a big blanket stretched out sitting on the grass.

That wasn't all. It was fairly dark outside and it was getting even darker making it so you could see the stars and planets that littered the night sky. "Ok you can open your eyes now" I say as I take the blindfold off of her.

Lily's pov

I felt the blindfold get taken off of me as I looked around for the first time. " wow" I whispered under my breath. It was beautiful here. You could see the stars and planets perfectly even with the light admitted from the fairy lights.

"follow me, I have some food packed and then we can look at the stars." Veronica says to me and I nodded to starstruck to say anything in response.

She grabbed my hand and walked me over to the picnic table. We sit down across from each other at the table. " so do you like it?" she asks me. " I love it," I say to her truthfully. "Good cause there's more" she says back grabbing something from the cooler.

She grabbed a jar of crofters and I got really excited. There my favorite. " I know there your favorite so I brought you a few jars dear" she said, handing the jar to me with a spoon. " Thank you, this has been amazing" 
I say to her as I open up the jar of crofters and start eating them. " your welcome love" she says back smiling sweetly at me.

Third pov
After a while of talking the two layed down on the blanket and stared at the stars. Every time they saw a constellation they would point it out and Lily would tell the story of it.

They both had a lot of fun and decided to visit this place again soon. At the end though they fell asleep in eachothers arms while resting on the blanket
