I was walking to my myths class like any other day at Tharlins High

I suddenly remembered that a new student was coming to our school today

Hmmm I thought I wonder if they'll be in my class

I strolled through the door of my classroom and started to set up for a new unit in Greek mythology

As the class started to slowly trickle in I wrote my name on the and said "please just call me Mr.L"

I turned around to write on the board when I heard knocking. So I walked over to open it.

A boy was there and apparently he was the new student

I told him strictly "well Mr."

"Jackson" he interrupted
I hmmphed and said "well Mr.Jackson your late and since you seem to know so much about about this lesson because you decided to be late, will you please tell me who the Greek god of the seas and earthquakes is"

"Poseidon" the boy replied smugly

Flustered I quickly said back "well I guess you've learnt your lesson now please introduce yourself to the class "

He turned to face the class and announced " Hi, my name is Perseus Jackson but please only call me Percy and I'm the son of Poseidon".

I was about to question him when Percy muttered"whoops that slipped out" and snapped his fingers

I instantly forgot what he had just said.

Percy said under his breath"hey why don't I do something else with the mist quickly just for fun".
