Chapter 8

Mohyun's POV

"What? She's on leave?" I asked in surprise of what Dahyun-noona, Tzumi's secretary, just told me. How come i don't know? How come she didn't tell me? Does she, too, want me to stop bothering her? 

Great. She's the same as Yuna. She don't want me to bother her too so that's why she took a leave. Great, just great.

"May i know when is she going to be back?" I asked the older girl.

"She did not say exactly when. She only told us that she will be gone for a few weeks." She answered with an apologetic smile.

"But she did tell me that when you come, you have to tell me why you want to have a meeting with her. And also, she told me to tell you to just contact her when you want to see her." The secretary added on.

"Alright. I'm here to talk about my restaurant. And thanks, i will contact her." I told her and she wrote down the reason.

"Okay. Have a nice day." She said with a warm smile. I said the same thing to her and exited the company.

Why didn't she tell me anything? Will she tell me why if i ask her? Hold on. I should try calling her to see if she will pick up.

"Hello?" -Tzumi

"Yo, sis! Why didn't you tell me you are on leave?" -Me (Got to keep up my high energy)

"I needed some time for myself. Sorry for not telling you." -Tzumi

"It's okay! Enjoy your time! I will be going back to work now!" I quickly said and hung up the call.

I sighed and placed my phone on the passenger seat then started driving to the gym.

Days passed and i miss Tzumi already. I don't want to disturb her free time so i just focus on my work and myself, not wanting to get distracted by her inside my mind.

Finally, i'm on break. Phew...Too many ladies specifically asking me to cook their orders. It's so tiring. I slumped onto the sofa, at the end corner of my restaurant. I let out a long sigh of exhaustion.

"Tired?" Linda asked as she sat across me with a friendly smile. We became friends after that one hangout.

"Yeah..." I breathed out and she chuckled lightly.

"Oh my. Look at this." A voice that i hate so much suddenly came. I sat up properly and saw Yuna with a girl, around our age, by her side. Is that his girlfriend? 

"What do you want now?" I asked in annoyance.

"Chill there, brother. I didn't expect you to hang out with another girl and not Tzumi. Don't tell me you and Tzumi have a fight and you 2 are not talking with each other." He said jokingly which made me glared at him before i put on a blank and emotionless face.

"We did not fight. You don't know that she's on leave?" I said monotonously, folding my arms and putting one leg over the other.

"What? She's on leave? Really? I didn't know. How did you know?" He spoke and i raised one eyebrow at him.

"You don't know? How could you not know? You work there for goodness' sake. And i obviously know when i went there, duh." I said, getting pissed.

"For your information, she fired me so i'm not working there anymore. Why is she on leave then? Do you know why?" Yuna asked more questions. If he's still asking about her, then that means the girl with him is not his girlfriend, huh. Sigh...
