After what seemed like forever, the knock at the front door signaled the arrival of your food. You perked up at the sound, like how puppies do when they hear the doorbell ring. Daichi stopped mid-sentence as he noticed your attention was not on the conversation anymore. Koushi got up and grinned as he grabbed his wallet. Daichi made a movement to pull out his wallet, but Koushi shook his head and let to get the food. The male that sat to your left only sighed as his offer was turned down. You only chuckled and pat Daichi's shoulder to give him some comfort, besides it was only fair that you or Koushi paid given that the other two boys were helping you move when they really didn't have to.
Koushi returned with the two boxes of pizza and a bag that had two big bottles of soda. You jumped up and ran over to the box that you had put on your kitchen counter. Your mom had made sure to buy you some paper plates and cups in the event that you would need to eat in your apartment without having moved in completely yet. It was to save you the stress of having to dig through your boxes. You grabbed them and walked back over to the group returning to your spot. You passed out cups and plates to everyone while Koushi opened the soda and poured cups for everyone.
You hummed in delight as you opened one of the boxes to pull out a slice. Before you took a bite you looked over at every one and smiled, "Thanks for helping out guys! We wouldn't have got done nearly as fast if it were just me and Koushi!"
The other two boys only smiled at your words. Both of them shared the same thought, they would do anything for you. Although the same thought, both different types of devotion. One was romantic while the other was completely platonic. Chikara saw you as a little sister that he never had.
You quickly dug into your pizza and hummed as the taste of the cheese and tomato sauce hit your tongue. It was truly one of your most favorite foods in the world. The other boys started to dig in as well, a moment of comfortable silence filled the room as all of you enjoyed the food.
Daichi turned to you, finishing the bite he had just taken, "So what did you decide on studying?"
You swallowed the rest of you food before you responded to his question, "Well I decided to study literature or english. The school's course seems like it'll help me with learning how to develop a story and become a better writer. I'm also planning on maybe minoring in art so I can keep my skills in check."
Daichi nodded as he listened to you. Chikara only laughed, "Wow... I hope you don't drown in work... a major and a minor sounds like a lot of work."
You nodded as you took another bite of your pizza, "Yeah... but I want to learn so I can make better stories! I'm gonna be a published manga artist!" You chuckled, the sparkle in your eyes full of hope.
Koushi only smiled as he watched you. He was proud that you were so set on your goals and you were willing to fight for it, even though your career choice wasn't exactly something your parents had wanted for you. Personally, Koushi had imagined you would become a volleyball coach or something in the sports field since it was something you were passionate about. But, he also knew that you always had the dream to be a manga artist/writer since you were little. In fact, about a third of the boxes that you had were filled with just your manga. The rest of the break was spent just chatting idly about your future plans and things to do around the area.
