Waking up the next morning, you oddly felt refreshed and well rested even though the night before you had stayed out late just chatting with Kenma and Kuroo. After the dinner the three of you ended up at a cafe to just chat. It was one of those cafes that were open 24 hours and basically the three of you had lost track of time. You just barely made it to take the last train back.
You stretched out a bit as you looked over at the clock, you had a few extra minutes before the alarm went off. You, fortunately, had classes that were a bit later in the morning so there was no real rush. But, you decided to get up anyway that way you could enjoy a nice cup of coffee and some muffins at the cafe while you read the newest edition of the weekly manga magazine.
You washed up and got ready for the day. You decided to wear a pleated black and grey plaid mini skirt, with a white shirt tucked in to it and over it an over-sized denim jacket. You paired it nicely with some black thigh-high socks and a pair of white doc martens. After putting on some light makeup, you grabbed your bag packing some workout clothes, since it was a day with much less classes you decided that you'd visit the university gym. Just to see what it was like.
You head out to your favorite cafe with the week's manga magazine in hand. The cool spring breeze left you feeling refreshed and awakened on your walk towards the cafe. Within minutes, the familiar store front came into view and you quickened your pace just a little bit out of pure excitement. Although in the back of your mind, you wondered who was working. Would it be Kuroo? Oikawa? You never knew their work schedules, or just never paid attention to what days you saw them there and what days you didn't.
You opened the door to cafe and was greeted with the all to familiar smell of coffee and baked goods. Once you stepped inside, you quickly took a look at the surroundings to spot who was working.
"(y/n)-chan~!"
You sighed softly as the voice made its way to your ears. You could instantly recognize the slightly melodic tone as none other than Oikawa. And sure enough, when you looked towards the counter, he was standing right behind the register. You smiled softly at him as you made your way over to order your items.
"Um- let me guess your order!" Oikawa held up his hand to you as his other hand was up near his face, scratching his head lightly in thought.
You couldn't help but giggle softly at the cute scene. You never liked how persistent he was, but you couldn't deny how attractive he was. You watched him struggle to think for a couple seconds before you saw his eyes light up, seemingly having an epiphany.
"Iced... Americano? and.... maybe... a bagel?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side, his fluffy hair gently shifting with the movement.
You chuckled once more, "Close, but not quite."
Oikawa pouted as he let out a soft groan, "Man... I thought I had it... What was it?"
"Iced Americano and a blueberry muffin."
