School was starting in just a few days, this meant that you needed to find the best way to get to school. Since you hadn't gone to the school just yet you decided to spend the day visiting the campus before your orientation. Of course, introducing you to the school is what the orientation was for, but you liked to at least get an idea of where things were. It would make you more confident to when you had to meet new people.
The weather outside was slowly starting to warm up, but the chill in the air was still a bit nippy. You decided on a more relaxed style for today since there would be a lot of walking. You slipped on a pair of light-wash high-waisted mom jeans and topped it off with a cropped long sleeve shirt. It was simple yet stylish. You put your hair up into a cute space buns and ruffled your bangs to give you a little tousled look. After slipping on an oversized cardigan and a pair of white sneakers, you headed out.
According to the navigation app on your phone, it seemed that the school was a good 15-20 minute walk away from your place. As you headed down in the elevator, you noticed that the route would lead you right past the cafe where Kuroo worked. Coffee definitely sounded good right about now. But then again, when isn't a good time for coffee? Koushi always told you you were addicted to coffee and probably should lay off a bit, but you didn't care. The bitter and sweet taste was something you couldn't give up. You thought of texting Kuroo to see if he was working, but you figured that if he was he wouldn't answer back anyway.
After walking down the street a bit, you could see the familiar store front in the distance picking up your pace a bit out of excitement. You slipped into the cafe and hummed in delight as you were greeted by the fragrant aroma of coffee beans and baked goods. You made your way to the counter as you tried to see if Kuroo was there. Sure enough, he was behind the counter and to his side was a different coworker than the last time you were there.
"Kuroo-senpai!" You called as you walked to the side a little away from the cash register so you wouldn't disturb the other customers that were placing their orders.
At the sound of your voice, Kuroo turned around and smiled at you, "Suga-chan~ you didn't tell me you were stopping by today," He finished the order he was working on and placed it on the tray.
Another coworker had returned to the counter and grabbed the next tray that needed to be taken out. Kuroo looked at his tall coworker, "That's for order 19."
The other male nodded but as he turned his eyes lingered on your smiling face. You glanced at him and bowed in greeting to Kuroo's coworker to not be rude. He had fluffy brown hair and brown eyes to match. He was tall and his face was quite angular, he looked familiar but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. The male was captivated. He never seen you in the cafe before, but here you were talking to Kuroo like you'd known him for a long time. He'd definitely have to ask Kuroo about you later. He took a couple more seconds to gaze at you before he left to deliver the order to the table.
