University is a tough place to navigate, much less figure out what you're going to be doing after you earn that diploma. But with a few interesting run-ins and a quaint cafe, who knows where the twist and turns of life will bring you.

The four of you slowly settled in to watch the movie. You and Chikara had laid out multiple blankets and pillows to make the ground a bit more comfy. You always kept a lot of pillows on your bed, so there was more than enough to go around. You had decided to settle yourself between Chikara and Daichi, especially since you were watching a horror movie Koushi sometimes liked to scare you in the middle of it. So in order to avoid that situation, you decided that it was best to just sit between the other two boys.
You pulled up the blankets a bit and snuggled under it as you leaned back against your bed. The lights were turned off and there was a bowl of popcorn in front of all of you, in case anyone felt like snacking during the movie. Daichi discreetly scooted a bit closer to you without making it too obvious, and settled with his feet tucked into the blanket you had pulled up, while the rest of his body was uncovered. As the movie started, the room darkened a bit more, the light from the tv the only source of light in the entire apartment.
Daichi stole a quick glance at you, the blue light of the tv illuminating your soft features as you stared at the screen intently. He found a soft smile make its way to his lips before he turned his attention back to the screen before him.
Personally, you didn't really care for horror films. You were kind of a wuss when it came to them actually. But, since you had chosen the movie the night before with Chikara, you had to let someone else choose. Even though you weren't too fond of horror films, you could never pull your attention away from them. There was something quite chilling and intriguing about them, most of the time you enjoyed trying to predict who was going to die first. As you were in the middle of internal monologue over the plot of the movie, the music from the show pulled you from your frantic thoughts. Your heart beat faster as the music softened more and more til it was silent, the character in the movie trying her best to hide from the psychotic killer. You started to breath heavily as you gripped the blanket harder, you knew it was coming. The classic jump-scare technique that many horror films used.
You knew it was coming. But, the sudden loud bang and the killer popping out of nowhere managed a squeal from your lips. You pulled the blanket up to cover half of your face, peeking out just a little to see if the character makes it out of the situation alive. The other three could deal with horror films quite well, but they couldn't help but jump as well when you let out a squeal. Daichi looked over at your frightened frame and chuckled softly to himself. He slowly moved closer, erasing the remaining gap between your bodies. He slipped his hand under the blanket to gently rub your forearm in an attempt to help comfort you.
The moment you felt the gentle shift and a sudden warmth at your side, your eyes glanced over at Daichi. He was looking at you with a soft smile, followed by a gentle rubbing on your forearm. Your face started to heat up and you averted your eyes in the opposite direction. Your eyes fell upon Chikara and Koushi who were still intently watching the movie. You leaned on to Daichi a bit and moved your hand down a little so he could slip his hand into yours. Your breathing started to calm a bit as you focused your attention back on the movie. The male felt his face heat up as well, glancing down at you once more. He was glad that he decided to hang out.
