You quickly made your way off to the side, out of pure embarrassment. You couldn't believe your old habits had kicked in, but then again you lived and breathed volleyball for practically your whole life. You were up on the second floor sitting in the bleachers, dying of your own embarrassment. After cooling off a little bit, you made your way to the railing to watch the practice once more. The boys were now doing some spiking drills and your eyes watched each player, observing their little quirks when they spiked. You noticed which players liked cross spikes while others preferred line shots. Just watching them practice made your heart happy.

A part of you would always love the sport and at times you even questioned if you really should've quit. But, it was too late to question that now, you were three years out of competitive play and you devoted your time to pursuing your dreams of being a mangaka. You smiled softly as you watched them, you noticed that the blond guy from earlier was their setter and he made it seem effortless and easy. You could tell that his sets were able to bring out the best in each spiker.

You leaned against the railing as you continued to watch the different players. The more you stood there and watched, the more you wanted to be apart of the action. It made you a bit excited for that intramural tournament that you had grabbed the flier for, the last thing the three of you needed was to fill the rest of the team. As you were watching, the blond you had talked to earlier looked up at you. Once your eyes met, he flashed a slight smirk which made you avert your eyes.

You figured it was a good time to leave. You wanted to at least get in a light cardio workout, you did come to the gym after all. Plus, you wouldn't want to be classified as one of those weird fan girls that constantly cheered for the boys like they were some sort of idols. You fixed your hair that was put up into a ponytail as you were walking away to head back towards the cardio area.

Once you had disappeared, the blond couldn't help but think about you. Your level of skill was absolutely amazing, he wondered if you were actually going to be a new member of the school's girl's team. But their practices had already started and he hadn't seen your face in passing. He also couldn't help but think that he had seen you somewhere.

"Miya! Get your head in the game!"

"Sorry!" he chuckled as he turned to the coach, before he returned to the drills they were doing. He wanted to see you again, he prayed that he'd run into you again on campus or at the gym. He had so many things he wanted to ask and was curious about.

After a quick shower and change back into your regular clothes, you had headed back home. It was a little late when you had finished your workout. You got so caught up in your exercise you hadn't realized that two hours had passed. Since it was late and you were tired, you decided to see if you could get some of that onigiri to take out for dinner. You didn't stop by during lunch since there was that club event, and you were missing the delicious taste of the onigiri.
