"...and that's why we believe you should accept us because we love ourselves! We are together, and you can't stop us. If you don't agree, no need for the insults! Just accept it, even your queen has!" Veronica announced and turned to Chandler who was trying her best to keep everything together. A vein was pulsing on her temple, but she just smiled and pointed to the crowd.

"That's right."

The entire auditorium was silent. A few people began to clap. A few people booed. Many stared. And all of them had a long train of thought.

"Woohoo!" JD stood up from his seat and raised his slushee high. "Here's a glass to the two of you! Tomorrow there'll be more of you!"

Veronica glared in so much disapproval JD was practically shaking now. Just, shut up, please. It was like telepathy. He immediately shrunk and scratched the back of his head.

"Thank you. Enjoy the rest of your lunch." And everyone swarmed out of the room, still having a colorful set of emotions on the topic at hand.

"Bit extra, Sawyer." Chandler nudged Veronica, with a smug look, "Almost like you meant it."

"Yeah right. I'm just doing what has to be done." A blush was creeping up her neck and dancing on her ears. She clearly was taken aback. Chandler just kept her smug look and walked, holding her hand again. Veronica was about to object, but Heather saw this coming as said,

"I'm just 'playing my part'." Heather flipped back into bitch mode and whipped Veronica around.

"Now, time to re—"

"Good job out there." JD was leaning against the wall and he looked evil. It was like a bad parent just caught you and you were about to be beaten. It was like you were caught in hide and seek, but the repeatedly stabbed you when you were found. It was like, no it was just really scary.

"I, it's not what it looks like." Veronica squeaked, pushing Heather away. She looked really pissed but Veronica pulled her back close, "That's JD."

"Oh shit."

"Now what were you just about to do?" He smiled, but it didn't give off the vibe of a smile, no, it was more of a dark sinister feeling.

"Look at each other's bags? What else? I clearly turned her around so I could see.." Chandler spat out a sarcastic remark. It was in her blood. It so happened this was a good thing to say because JD cracked a smile.

"I like you. You've got a spunk." And he slapped her back while dragging them to a table. JD continued by gesturing for them to sit down, "Go ahead, see what it says. I want to see your reaction."

"Oka—"

"Wait up! I couldn't find you guys earlier!" Mac came running near, holding Dukes wrist like she was dragging her around.

"Jesus fucking-" Heather started but began to take off her bag anyway. Veronica saw this and followed quickly behind.

JD, Heather, And Heather were all watching Heather and Veronica prop up their bags on the table. They sat them up and pushed them close.
Girlf Riends.

It was silent. Oddly silent. No one, not even Heather McNamara spoke. They all just sat at stared for a long time.

This was interrupted when Chandler arched her back, tilted her head to the sky, and let out a menacing screech. An ear piercing scream. A nightmare inducing noise of discomfort. JD clasped Heather McNamaras ears, Heather McNamara clasped Dukes ears, and Duke did so with JD. That could've easily been done with them covering their own ears, but they chose not to.

"W-What is the meaning of this? JD? Y-you did this to us?" Veronica was on the verge of tears, but she didn't cry.

"All this fucking time, I've trusted you, relied on you, you've been one of my closest friends and I get this?!" Chandler screeched into Macs ear and pulled off her beanie, "and this! This! Of course it's meant for pride, because you forced me into this make believe relationship with her!" Chandler was about to slap someone but Veronica held her hand.

"Hey, chill out. I gotta test something." Veronica then pulled the hand she just grabbed onto her cheek. The look in her eyes was so innocent, it'd soften anyone.

"H-Hey, stop that what the fuck are you doing..." Chandler was caught in the trap and immediately softened. Veronica has been gay for her for a very long time, but her pride wasn't going to let that sink. Making Heather Chandler confess her love was a better idea. Okay so I've been watching Kaguya-Sama : Love Is War, and I want the concept of this book to kind of be like that. Also I watch anime soooooo—

"That's better. Now we've already convinced these people were legitimately gay, but we don't have to be if you don't want to be." Veronica smiled and leaned into her.

"All I need is some time to think. But the boat is about to sink. Can't erase what I wrote in ink, tell me how could you change the story?"

"You mean we? Jeez you get pretty weird sometimes." Veronica laughed, but she got really strange looks from the rest of the gang.

"What?"

"Y-you softened Heather Chandler... you're a god." The other two Heather bowed and just stared with googly eyes.

"Hey I can't be that easy!" Chandler hissed and pulled away from Veronica. Hey eyes sharpened like a blade and Veronica's warmth disappeared. As much as she would like to go back, she refused. Veronica just smiled sadly and sat up straight.

"Well what are we going to do about this?" Veronica calmed down because she didn't want to put any more pressure on Heather. If she cried, Heather might've cried and that would ruin everything.

"Who cares about the rumors? You two can still hang out.." Mac pointed out, not wanting the relationship to sink.

"Tch fine! It's not like we'll convince the people we aren't gay after this entire fiasco. And when we're alone everything sucks 10 times more." Chandler gave in. And it was for the better.

"So you like being with me?" Veronica raised a brow and smirked.

"No, I just don't want to be beaten up." Chandler snarled and inched even farther away.

"I'd fight for you two!" JD tried to lighten the mood and raised his apple juice, if it were his choice it'd be a slushee but he skipped 7/11 to watch the show.

"Very reassuring, Jesse James." Chandler laughed, it seemed she'd calmed down a little bit.

"Jesse James? Haven't heard that one yet." JD feigned anger but he immediately broke into a collection of chuckles.

The group sat, talked, laughed and joked together. It seemed JD had almost gotten part of it, but he wasn't that close. He mostly faked it because he wished for his dear friend to get in a relationship.

Meanwhile Chandler was having a thought party, as she usually does. No one suspects just how much she thinks and analyzes thing to keep her perfect picture. I can't be gay. But maybe if I could get Veronica to confess to me, I'd MAYBE just THINK about it. Veronica was a cute girl and even my own self complimented her the day I saw her... what can I say? It's my word against me. She was perfect. But she was a she. She kept on arguing with herself about how Veronica was perfect, but she wasn't allowed to be gay. Oh who am I kidding? Everyone already thinks I'm gay? What have I got to lose? My dignity? Yeah right. Veronica is worth much more than that. But I'm not going to lose to her.

The battle was on. Whoever confesses first loses.
