"Concealer. Now."

Veronica repeated words to say to herself. She breathed. In. Out. In. Out.

"Okay." Woohoo! Way to go, Veronica! You said one neutral word without blowing it!

"Um, are you just gonna stand there like a pillowcase?"

Veronica let her arms shake just a little as she stuttered out, "N-no." She started walking toward the area where she thought the concealer was and dragged herself back to Heather. What was she supposed to say?

"Thanks." Heather rolled her eyes and snatched the concealer out of Veronica's shaking hands.

"Hey Sawyer?"
"Yeah?"
"Where the fuck did I get these hickeys from?"

Veronica's heart dropped. No, it grew arms and legs. Then it built a huge skatepark and grabbed a skateboard to drop in from a 60 foot ramp.

"I don't know."
"That's it? It wasn't psycho trenchcoat kid? All I remember is playing drinking games and passing out."

Heather narrowed her eyes. She was genuinely curious as to who had the balls to give her hickeys. Who had the audacity to-

"I have some too, don't act all special." The brunette puffed her chest and rolled her eyes. There was an awkward silence but then the girl across from her burst into laughter.

"You?! You got hickeys? Now those, those are from Psycho-"

"They were from you!" Veronica turned red with anger and her hands shot up to her mouth. The silence this time wasn't awkward, it was, thick. Tension. You could cut it with a knife. They made eye contact. Silver, sharp ones fought tough chocolate ones. It was like two marbles.

"Does that mean.?" Heather ran her hands through her hair. Veronica just nodded. This silence was shorter because it was cut off my a screech only a dog could hear.

"You! You! I knew letting you in was a mistake. Who knew I invited a fa-"

"Don't say that fucking word to me." Veronica covered Heathers mouth. Her eyes narrowed.

"You ruined my life Veronica, and so did your little boyfriend too. I'm leaving." Heather turned to walk out, concealer in hand but Veronica grabbed her wrist. "What-"

"Don't leave." Veronica switched straight from a pissed off gay to a child-like girl. She turned away from Chandler and moved from grabbing her wrist to her hand. "Please?"

"You aren't gonna catch me this time, bitch." Heather ripped her hand away and walked outside. What was she supposed to do? She couldn't go home, she was the Heathers ride here. Maybe if she just hid from them it would be enough to scare them.

.

What just happened. Today was gonna be the fantasy day where Veronica reveals that the reason she gave Heather hickeys was because she liked her. She really thought begging would work. She really thought holding her hand would work. Hell, she thought giving her hickeys was okay.

Veronica slowly walked away into the living room of the cabin and let her head rest between her hands while her elbows laid on her knees.

"Seems like you got a case of the frowns." A scruffy yet smooth voice spoke followed by a long slurp of what sounded like a slushie.

"How did you get that?"

"Saved it. Put it in the freezer when we first came." Veronica made a noise of acknowledgement and continued to eye the window.

"So... what happened last night?" JD wiggled his eyebrows but Veronica just frowned a little more.

"Nothing." She made her way outside and Heather was no where to be found.

Her and Heather have hooked up before, so why was she so pissed now? Was Veronica just some sex toy to her? She thought they were special. All authority Veronica had over Heather vanished the moment Heather walked away from here. Suddenly she was miles behind her. Of course she couldn't love the demon queen. The demon queen wasn't... she didn't swing that way. Not romantically at the very least.

Fuck this whole vacation it's all gone to shit. Why couldn't Heather just admit her feeling for Veronica? She did feel that way right? Was Veronica just being delusional? Oh god she'd be dead by Monday coming back from break if thats the truth.

.

"What did I just do.." Heather whispered to herself with her head in her hands. Her and Veronica have fucked before, so why are a little bit of hickeys bad? Well fucking means nothing to Chandler and they were both fairly tipsy. The thing is, now... it feels like that meant something. This feels like more than a friend or a fuck.

Heather continued walking through the forest and ended up meeting with Mac.

A yip! escaped Mac when they collided and Chandler just raised her brow to look down at Mac, it was a reflex.

"Heather! What are you doing out here?" Mac gripped Chandler by the shoulders.

"Thats none of your business." Chandler never shut down Mac, but when she did it was law. As with anyone else of course...

"B-but this is a vacation for all of us!"

Chandler sighed after hearing that. How could she say no? It was her idea anyway. But what about Veronica. She couldn't face her after she just denied her feelings, sure she could yell and scream and boss others around but that didn't mean nothing phased her. Chandler was always thinking.

"Fine, but keep me away from Veronica will you?"

"What..?"

"I said what I said."
