I wrote another song about you, but god knows I didn't want to. Roman wrote away, his pen smoothly gliding across the 3rd page of lyrics. His feeling flowed out of him as he sang the lyrics, he wasn't trying to perfect them, to get them just right, he completing a personal project to express his feelings to himself and better understand them. If he couldn't tell Virgil how he felt, then he would sing until his lungs gave out and he no longer felt the need to tell him.

Roman got to spend time with him and that was enough. They had gotten closer recently and his emotions were becoming overwhelming. Roman did the only thing he could think of to relax himself, singing. This time was different from most times, though. He didn't want to rock out to the Moana soundtrack or Hamilton, he really wanted his song to mean something. Other songs did mean a lot to him, but in a different way- they weren't as personal.

Roman swayed in his chair as he sang. He sang for maybe hours before this feeling of safety enveloped him. He was okay, he was himself, and that was enough. He kicked off his shoes, gracefully rose from his swiveling chair, and began dancing around his room. He was completely content, he loved Virgil but for now this was enough, he didn't need to tell Virgil yet. Roman would just enjoy every minute of his life. He danced over to the curtains and threw them open with both arms. He stretched out as he lovingly gazed out at Imagination. He was home, his room connected to the places he would visit with the other sides and also to his place, Imagination, where he could create anything. Both places were a part of him and his home was exactly where he was, right in the middle.

Roman smiled to himself this was going to be a wonderful life, wasn't it?
Strange yet beautiful creatures flew past his window, humming the tune to his latest song. Yes, yes it was.
The window morphed into a door and as Roman opened it, the scent of freshly baked cookies and jasmine filled his lungs.
~His power flurried through the air into the ground~
The Prince's red cape danced in the wind as the golden crystals warmed his being.
Roman was happy to be alive.
He was practicing glowing.
