Part 2-Shohei?

Third-person PoV
"So Shoyo, how come your friends don't know that you skate?" Victor asked. "I got recognised on my first day of school and I didn't want my team knowing. I don't think I'm famous but a lot of people have asked me if I'm the 'famous shōhei Hina' and it freaks me out. How do so many people know me?!" They both just giggled at Hinata. They really were beginning to become more and more like parents to him which He didn't mind.

"O, yo, Shoyo!" He snapped out of his trance and looked over at the two. "Huh what's up?" "We were calling your name for a few minutes. What you thinking about?" They both skated over to him and grabbed his arms dragging him off the rink to sit down. "Not much, you just act like my parents and I kinda like it" "oh well we're happy you think that way Shoyo. You're like a son to us too. We were trying to tell you that you are famous but you spaced out" Yuri explained. "Ya, you came second last year after only being coached by us for 10 months."

They had been close for a long time before they coached him. He grew up at the rink and watching them both skate and then eventually compete inspired him and He started talking to them. They got pretty close and eventually, they became like a family away from his family. They knew about his childhood and basically his entire life, including volleyball, and they honestly were parents to him. He only had his mum at home so having 2 father figures really cheered him up a lot and kept his signature smile on his face.

"Am I really that famous? What would happen if people at school figured out it is me? What would happen if the team found out? Would they treat me differently? I'm the same guy really I-" "Shoyo calm down. If you don't want them knowing don't tell them. But I think we should meet your team. I'm sure they're nice people!" Victor is always so enthusiastic, sometimes it hurts. 'Is that how the team sees me?' Hinata thought "U-uh maybe I'll see if they know you. I don't want them to recognise you guys and focus on how popular you guys are than you as people" "sounds good. We won't pressure you Shohei" "you're too nice d-Yuri"

Hinatas face went bright red and he freaked 'I nearly called him dad!'
"Did you nearly call me dad?" They both burst out in laughter and he just covered his face with his hands trying to get back on the ice. "Sh-shohei it's fine. We're like 14 years older than you it's natural that we're father figures for you. It's cute" Victor exclaimed kissing Yuri in the cheek. "Keep your PDA to yourself I'm still single dads" Shoyo emphasised the last word while smirking stepping onto the ice. "So who's the lucky girl you've got your eye on?"

"O-oh uh, I'm gay" "like father like son" Victor giggled "shut up, but I actually don't have my eye on anyone right now" "hm, I thought youd like at least one guy from the volleyball team. Don't worry though you'll find someone" Yuri seriously was way too kind, or that's how Hinata felt. "Yeah I hope so. Anyway should we skate?" "You should talk in Russian more, you are even better than Yuri" "don't insult your fiancé. My Russian is very good thank you"

Time skip to a different day

Hinata made his way to the place where the volleyball team ate lunch together. Some of them have other friends in their year but the team was like a family and so they always chose to eat together. All 14 of them. And so it was the perfect opportunity to ask them about Victor and Yuri.

"Hey guys have you ever heard of Victor Nikiforov or Yuri Katsuki?" Everyone's eyes went wide and sparkly? "YEAH! they're so cool! I've heard they're dating too" Tanaka yelled, "they're so cool, figure skating just looks so graceful and beautiful!" Noya continued. "Oh yeah, apparently they're training this guy named Shohei Hina. He placed second last year im pretty sure" Asahi piped in. "H-huh? Shohei Hina? Never heard of him" Hinata nervously laughed. "Any reason you mentioned them Hinata? They're pretty cool, us third years get together to watch their performances and Shohei's too" Daichi asked "I watched Hina last year, he's really good and apparently practices at the rank nearby. Maybe we should all go skating as a team!" Noya once again shouted at us. They continued to talk about how someone as cool as Shohei practised at a place nearby and Hinata just sat in silence listening to them compliment him the whole time.

"Is everyone free tonight? We could go straight after practice if you're free?" Suga and Daichi began planning. Hinata thought for a while about whether he was busy or not and decided to just text his father figures instead.

Skating family

Sho: hey guys are we skating today?
Vic:we weren't going to practice the routine but Yuri and I were considering just chilling out there for a while. Why?
Yuri: yeah we might head down to talk to the owner of the rink
Sho: I asked the team if they knew you guys and they are really big fans. They're fans of 'Shohei Hina' too. Now they wanna go ice skating after volleyball.
Vic: does this mean we can meet them if we come down?
Yuri: babe, I think Shoyo is worried we'll be recognised around his friends. Don't want to make our son uncomfortable
Vic: that makes sense. If you don't want us to come down to the rink we won't.
Yuri: you don't have to keep talking in Russian you know. Anyway, we won't come down if you don't want. We could come down and skate separately and introduce ourselves as strangers so they don't know we know you.
Sho: I guess if you want to come down you can just don't say you know me? Idk act like you just came to skate
Vic: will do Shoyo. We might see you, now go talk to your friends
Yuri: wow Japanese babe, I'm proud. Go talk to your friends aren't you at lunch right now?
Sho: Yeah, they're probably suspicious. Bye dads
Yuri: 😂 love you /son/
Vic: you really are like our son 🤧

"Does Hinata have a girlfriend? You're smiling at your phone" Suga giggled. "Whatever mom, I was texting my family thank you very much. Turns out I am free after practice if you guys wanna go. The rinks only like 20 minutes away" he replied. The team agreed that after volleyball ended they'd head to the rink, rent out some skates and have some fun together. Maybe they'd even meet victor and Yuri.
