I stared at the beautiful girl in front of me. Her hair was pulled back in a loose ponytail, and a few strands fell out. Her cheeks were a little flushed. A light grey tank top hugged her curves, while a dark colored plaid shirt gently covered her bare shoulders. Dark washed skinny jeans clung to her long legs. Bright white converse were letting her feet rest in them.

She was gorgeous.

I stared at the girl in front of me. Her once beautiful long brown hair was now dull and resting on her shoulders. Her skin was pale and her cheeks were sunken. A hospital gown covered her limp body. Wires connected to her body, they were the only thing keeping her heart beating.

She was dying

I grabbed her tan hands, her rings sending small chills on my hand. She stared up at me with a large grin on her face. I gently spun her into my chest. Her laughter rung throughout our small house. She through her head back and let out laughs as my fingers dug into her sides.

I couldn't help but think how damn lucky I was.

I grabbed her pale hands, the coldness of them sending chills throughout my body. Her eyes stayed close as she was was somewhere else. She didn't flinch. I pulled her hand to my lips, as I gently pressed them against the bare surface. The beeping of the machines rung throughout them empty room.

I couldn't help but think how unfair life is.

"What would you do? I mean if this ever happened to us." Hayley asked, sitting cross legged, facing me. She gently intertwines our fingers, waiting patiently for my answer.

"Probably die," I chuckle gently "no but really. I wouldn't be able to function without you... You're my life Hayley. I probably won't be able to breath, to talk, to even live. If you left me... My life would be ruined. I wouldn't be able to live or survive. You make me breath and wake up everyday..." I say quietly. I gently cup her cheek, letting a soft peck happen on her soft lips. "Please always stay."
