Christmas eve marks our one month anniversary and I want it to be special. We have this secret santa event, which Nya rigged to make me and Rhydian secret Santas for each other. I felt guilty, but I'm glad we got each other.
~After 5 hours of farming~
Sigh* I have enough for a hairstyler C, and a few mystic dyes. I'm so excited! Rhydian is going to look so handsome. Maybe this is more like a gift for myself. I snicker and someone randomly taps my shoulder. And like the wus I am, I flinch.
"Irin. Irin. Irin." I shiver and turned around. It was Maddie/MadamVine.
"Oh hey. What's up?"
"I know who your secret santa is, he told me. Well, he wants to meet up at the village. Don't tell him I said anything." She winks and runs elsewhere.
~At Village~
"Hey Rhy. Maddie said you were waiting for me."
"Hey babe." I blush. "Since we are busy farming for our gifts and don't have enough time for each other, I'd like to ask if you would come to my house tomorrow, so we can hang out."
"Sure... just us?"
"Yeah. I'd like you to meet my old man too."
"Okay, will do!" A big smile appears on my face and I grab his hand. "Let's run through the forest for fun."
~Morning, 24th of December~
He said to come with my pajamas on, so we can just relax. I feel so weird walking through the village with my polka dot, footie pajamas, but I feel cute and I don't care if others see me like this.
I look at my phone for his adress. I know this place! His house is at the top, right corner of the village. I see Aspirin in front of his house. As I walk up the stairs, he says, "So you must be Rhydian's girlfriend, Irin?"
"Yes sir, and you are his dad?"
"Of course, and you can just call me dad or Aspirin, what ever you feel comfortable with." Wow, he's so cool. "Well, you are welcomed to come here anytime. Anyways, Rhydian is already in the house setting up, so you shouldn't be making him wait." He laughs. Rhy and his dad has a similar sense of humor, it's cute.
I walk into his home and it wasn't as romantic as I imagined it would be. No fireplace, no hot cocoa. Just a large tv, a large couch, and snacks laid out on the coffee table. My favorites: Gummy Bears, Popcorn, Pepsi.
I sit down and wait for Rhydian.
He walks out in this giraffe footie pajamas and sits close to me. Really close, he puts his arm around me and turns on the tv.
"I brought your favorite snacks and a few movies that we can watch before we meet up in the middle of the village." He kisses my forehead and I lay my head on his shoulder.
"Hey Rhy."
"Yeah?"
"I have something for you."
"Really? Me too. Are you by any chance my secret santa? Because I am yours too."
"Yes. By the way... Nya rigged it, so we can be secret Santas for each other."
"That's nice of her don't you think?" I hand him his items in this red box with a yellow bow and he exchanges it with this peach colored, small box. "Don't open it until tomorrow, okay?"
"Sure."
We kiss passionately and his dad comes in to take a picture. I knew he was there, but I wanted this moment to last as long as it could.
