Ray pulled her car over on the side of the road and put her hazard lights on. Tanner who was in the other lane, did a U turn and came around right behind Ray's car.
Tanner got out and came to the girls side.
"I was concerned for your safety." Tanner began, "When I noticed that your tire was flat and wobbly."
"Oh thanks." Said Ray. "I didn't know."
Tanner looked over her tire and saw that there were a bunch of nails packed into it and it poked the tire making it flat. He showed her the problem telling her about the nails.
"Oh goodness... how am I going to fix it. I left my cellphone at home. And I can't call for a truck to come tow and repair it." Ray began to worry.
"I can fix it for you. I got tools in the trunk of my car." Said Tanner.
"Yeah... but it's a tire with nails." Said Ray
"Unless you have a spare in the trunk of your car." Said Tanner going to the back of her car. Ray then was wondering how there would be a spare in her trunk.
"Can you open the trunk with your keys?" Asked Tanner.
Ray grabbed her car keys and pushed the button, making the trunk pop open. Tanner lifted it and he was right, under the fabric was a spare tire.
"Wow... I didn't know I had one." Ray said sounding really surprised. "How are you gonna put the tire on without tools?"
"I have a tool box in the back of my car." Said Tanner taking the tire out of the trunk. He rolled it to the side of her car, then walked to his to get the toolbox.
The toolbox in his hand, he brought it to the corvette to do work. While Bree sat in the car, Tanner was putting on the new tire and Ray was there to accompany him.
"Yeah... I didn't realize that my tire has so many nails in it. I was just coming from the Bikini Goddess." Said Ray.
"Why were you at Bikini Goddess?" Tanner asked.
"Bree and I were there to buy bikini's for tryouts in a few weeks... you know for being on the girls lifeguard team."
"Your trying out!" Tanner exclaimed.
"Yes I am... I got the looks, but not the skills. I have to practice but don't know what to practice for." Said Ray.
"Well... I'm a lifeguard. Why don't I help you practice. I can teach you the skills of a lifeguard." Tanner suggested.
"Really?!" Squealed Ray.
"I can also teach you how to surf... if you like."
"I'd love to learn!" Ray exclaimed.
Tanner finished up changing the tire then said... "Evan can help Bree practice." He said kind of loud so she would hear.
She turned and smiled. She said she would love to practice with Evan.
"Alrighty then... what should we do with this tire." Said Tanner changing the subject.
"We can put it back in my trunk and I can drop it off at the local dump." Suggested Ray.
Tanner looked over the tire again then asked, "What do you think happened to this tire? Did you run anything over."
"Not that I know of." Said Ray. "I wonder if someone purposely put nails in my tire."
"Who would do that?" Asked Tanner. "Do you have any enemies."
"Not that I know of." Said Ray. "Someone is probably trying to stop me from...
At that very moment a guy in all black with a mask came to the back of the corvette and took the bag with the girls bathing suits in it, and he quickly took off running in the opposite direction jumping into a nearby trucks bed.
