The very next morning, Ray called Tanner asking him if he could teach her more skills and how to surf.

"Sure Ray... hopefully Patrick won't be there!" Said Tanner over the phone. Ray giggled at his remark. Then she remembered that she forgot to tell Bree. She though she would see her sometime soon, then she would tell her.

"Okay then... I'll see you at the beach at noon!" Said Ray. "Bye."

Tanner hadn't known Ray for long, but felt a deep connection with her. He liked her for her looks, personality, and traits. And he deep down from his heart knew she was perfect for him. Tanner over the phone really wanted to say "I love you!" before he said goodbye to her. But they have only been together for like a week. Thinking that wouldn't be appropriate, but was it love at first sight?

Tanners heart skipped a beat, when he realized he had to be at the beach in less than 20 minutes. He quickly started to find something to wear. Trying to find his best swimming trunks and sunglasses. He didn't know why he wanted to impress Ray, he just felt like he had the need to.

Before he went down to the beach, at his house he heard a knock on the door, wondering who could it be. He opened the door to see who it was when a taller blond girl in a bikini was standing at the door.

"Hi Tanner!" She said trying to sound Sophisticated.

"Hey... " Tanner stumbled, snapping his fingers trying to remember her name. "Cristy! Hi how can I help you!" Asked Tanner.

"Oh!" She put her hand on her cheek. "I was just wondering if you could help me?" Cristy asked.

"Sure what is it?"

"I was wondering if you could help me practice, since your lifeguard and one heck of a man." Said Cristy.

"Help you-practice." Said Tanner. "No can do sweetie. You see, I'm helping my gorgeous babe, Ray practice for tryouts in being a Lifeguard so, I'm sorry but I just can't help you." Cristy huffed.

"But... Patrick can help you." Tanner suggested.

"Who's Patrick?" She asked.

"The other good looking guy on the boys lifeguard team, besides my best friend."

"Oh, well where is he?" She asked.

"I don't know, I guess your gonna have to go door to door to find him. Well have fun!" Said Tanner closing the door on Cristy's face. He began to laugh hysterically.

"That was hilarious!" Tanner said waiting on Cristy to leave. Tanner want gonna wait for Cristy to leave so he decided to sneak out the back door.

He soon arrived at the beach, he saw Ray already there sitting a towel waiting patently. In his eyes, she looked so adorable, she was short, with dark brown hair and tan skin from the sun. Every time he saw her, he immediately grew happy and wondered if she felt the same.

"Hey!" Said Tanner standing beside Ray.

"Hi Tanner!" Her smile was so big, she was grinning from ear to ear.

"Are you ready for more lessons." He said reaching out his hand. She grabbed his hand, he pulling her up.

"Well what are we waiting for, come on." Said Ray running towards the water, Tanner trying to catch up, but he was slowing down a bit due to holding a heavy surf board.

"Are you ready?"
