Ray was awakened by the morning sunrise. The natural lighting shining through her room blinding her eyes. When she moved and sat up she realized that today was the day; her wedding day. Ray's parents were probably already at the beach decorating and preparing the wedding, getting everything in order.
Hours later, after everyone was ready including the bride, the wedding started. It was beautiful! Everything was white. The chairs back faced towards the ocean, and the decorations on the chairs flowing down the aisles. The podium up in the front where the pastor, bride, and groom will stand.
Within the hour everyone as guests her in their seats as the wedding began. First coming down the aisle was the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. Cristy and Patrick walking down, how Patrick's face didn't looked too thrilled. Diane and Evan walking down looking as happy as ever. Bree and Bartholomew walking down looking so happy that it was their wedding day. Tanner and his mother walking down, she was gently crying. The flower girl then came down throwing white and orange shells with very few white petals down on the sand. Then the music began to play louder, and the most beautiful bride and Perry walked down the aisle. Tanner watching as Ray began to come down, he began to shed a tear or two. She looked amazing. He smiled when she came up and she took his hand. The pastor began, after the speech he said "Tanner, do you take Ray to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do!" Tanner replied.
Then the pastor began. "And Ray, do you take Tanner to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I-I-I." Ray began to stumble on her words. Ray then looked at the ocean, her eyes began to grow wide and she froze. Tanner began to wonder why she was frozen.
"Ray... Ray are you alright?" Tanner asked. He looked to where the direction she was looking at, and saw that there was a huge tidal wave flowing down towards the beach. A Tsunami!
"Everyone Run!" Tanner screamed as everyone looked behind and started screaming. At that very moment all of the people of the wedding knew what they had to do, except for Cristy. The lifeguards had to protect their beach and people at all cost.
Ray, Bree, Diane, Bart, Evan, Patrick, and Tanner all began to run down to the ocean towards the wave. Cristy for some reason began to follow. But what for?
They got to the edge of the water when they saw it all being sucked into the tidal wave. And standing by the sucked in water was Bree and at that moment Ray and Bree both became wide eyed when a huge toothy shark appeared and Cristy shoved Bree into the mouth of the shark! Ray seeing her friend being eaten alive by the shark, tried to save her, by grabbing her arm, but it was stop late to save her best friend because the shark began to get sucked in by the wave and the teeth shredded Bree and all Ray had left of her was her arm.
Ray with nothing left, went down to her knees and began to cry. She looked over her shoulder to see all the men and Diane and Cristy running and saving others. Patrick looked ver and saw Ray sitting there and ran to her. The wave was less than a minute away, Patrick grabbed Ray in his arms and he began to run, not caring about being a lifeguard at the moment, he fled with Ray, leaving the rest of the squad on the beach. Ray looking over his shoulder as he ran, saw everyone get hit and drown by the massive wave. Ray put her head down on Patrick's neck and began to cry, she lost everyone, Bree and Tanner. She didn't even say I Do and kissed him, she regretted every moment. She didn't even get married.
Patrick in a hurry wanted to live as long as possible, in his eyes her determination. He looked high and low through the small island city and saw that the highest point which was above the wave, was the stairway to the volcano.
