Ray's mom opened the the door to see a man. He looked kind of familiar...
"Oh hi.. Perry." Greeted Ray's Mom.
"Hey Karen!" Said the man also known as Perry. "Oh did I come at a bad time."
"No it's fine. In fact we have to tell her anyway." Said Karen, Ray's Mom. "Ray dear, so me and Perry here having been together for four years now, and he has finally asked me to marry him. Since your having your wedding this week and I'm doing the planning, we decided that we are going to elope."
"Yes, and just to tell you, I don't know if you know Patrick or not, but he is my son!" Said Perry.
"So once we're married... today, you and Patrick will be brother and sister!" Exclaimed Karen.
"Hold on... Mom you didn't tell me you have been dating or seeing someone for years, and Patrick is gonna be my brother. He has a huge crush on me!" Ray shouted.
"So you are not gonna except us... your not gonna do this for me honey." Said Karen. "I guess I have to give you back your ring then..." she said to Perry.
"Mom, I'll do this for you... and don't give the ring back." Said Ray. "On a positive note, Patrick can't like me or hit on me anymore!"
Ray's Mom smiled and so did Perry. They seemed like two happy middle aged... people.
"Um, would you like to come inside?" Asked Karen.
"I'd loved to, as soon as I call Patrick to come in, he is in the car." Said Perry. He got on his phone and called his son to come in.
"Patrick my boy, this is going to be your new stepmother Karen and this is your new sister... Ray." Perry introduced Patrick to them. Patrick's eyes were wide. I don't think he wanted Ray to be his sister.
"While we are getting married, you too are staying here... bonding together. Getting to know each other. You guys are gonna be siblings in less than twenty minutes." Said Karen. "And tomorrow we're moving to a house we will all share together! Doesn't that sound like fun!"
Ray didn't seem so happy about sharing a house with Patrick. And why was all this happening so fast and why was she letting it happen? Probably because her mom meant everything to her and she also used sweet talk on Ray. Ray was just too nice to break anyone's heart... except For Patrick's.
"Bye kids!" Said Karen. "I've always wanted to say that. "Never had enough kids to."
"Well then... that's awesome!" Said Perry.
