Later that night, Ray and Bree arrived at Tanners and went through the back gate leading to the back yard where the pool party was.

Tanner's eyes were wide when he saw his fiancée walk in through the gate, she was wearing a long orangey dress and her brown hair in curls down to her waist.

"You look beautiful!" Said Tanner.

"Thank you!" Ray blushed.

"Okay everyone, here I would like to congratulate the two new lifeguards!" Everyone clapped for the two.

"Now everyone enjoy the party and get to know each other." Said Tanner.

Ray was standing over by the girl lifeguards, when she was touched on the shoulder by someone behind her. She turned around to see who it was... she was shocked to see Evan.

"Hey girl... you know what you have been missin, me." Said Evan.

"Evan, What are you doing!"

"Oh, I didn't realize it was you... my girlfriends best friend..." Evan said.

"When Bree figures this out, she is gonna-"

"What is going on?" Asked Bree. "Evan, really! Your flirting with my best friend. Do you do this with every girl!"

"No, it's not that Bree... I-I."

"Oh zip it, I have heard enough of it. Goodbye Evan." Said Bree. She broke up with Evan, realizing that he was a player and couldn't stay committed to one girl.

"Are you okay?" Asked Ray, her friend seeming so sad.

"I thought he was perfect!" Cried Bree putting her hands on her face. At that moment, someone sweet came up to her.

"Hi Bree... are you okay?" He asked.

Bree looked up to see Bartholomew. "Hi Bart." She sobbed.

"I was wondering if you were okay, I saw you crying and wondered what happened." Said Bart sounding concerned.

"Thanks Bart. But I'm fine." Said Bree.

"Come with me, let go swim in the pool. It will take your mind off of your break up." Said Bartholomew, taking her by the hand.

"You know, I met you when you went to the smoothie bar with Evan." Bart started conversation. "And I heard what you were talking about, honestly he wasn't really into you... like I was. As soon as I heard you talk about your dream, and realized how committed and determined you are, I immediately liked you." Bree blushed.

"That day, I realized he wasn't for you. I'm not saying I am definitely, but I would like to give you a chance." Said Bart. "Will you give me that chance, for me to be your boyfriend?"

"I guess so... even though your two years younger than me." Bree giggled.

"Correction, one and a quarter. My fifteenth birthday was last week." Said Bart. Bree was happy for the rest of the night in the pool having a great time with Bartholomew. They laughed, talked, and played for a while, until something crashed the party.
