I walked out to the balcony in my pajamas spotting Hawks coming in to land. "Hey Keigo."
"Oh hey chicky. You're looking snug." He chirped as he landed a couple feet in front of me.I thought about inviting him in since my roommate would be out for the evening. I figured it would be a little warmer and he could stay a bit long if he wanted. I gathered up the courage and spoke.
"So would you like to come in? I have the whole place to myself this evening. Yura went to stay with her boyfriend."
He gave me a surprised look and I nearly backed out on inviting him thinking maybe I overstepped a boundary of some kind.
"Oh, I wasn't expecting an invite so soon. If that's alright, I'd enjoy a quick visit."
I was relieved and happy that he agreed to it. I slid open the door and stepped inside as he silently followed. He paused at the door to remove his shoes.
"Nice little place you have here. Cozy."
I grinned as I motioned around the apartment. "Thankies. This is the living room, then obviously the kitchen and if you go to the hall it's my room, bathroom, and Yura's room and the front door."
"It's nice in here. Mind if I have a drink? Busy work out there and I'm feeling a little dry." He was taking in the decor and layout of the apartment as I made my way over to the kitchen.
"Sure. Water? Tea? coffee?" I asked
He pondered for a moment before he answered. "Tea would be nice. I'm not fussy about the kind." He looked over my pajamas noticing they were a medium gray with little red feathers all over them and smirked. "For someone who's not a fan, you sure do have a penchant for red feathers..."
I glanced at my own pajamas before looking back up at him with a blush. "I haven't a clue what you're talking about.""Uh huh. Sure.." He keeps smirking at me as I clear my throat, grabbing him a tea from the fridge and handing it to him.
"Here you are."
He opens the bottle, taking a sip.
"Mm, that hits the spot. So, any plans tonight since you're free as a bird?"
I shrugged in response.
"I thought maybe a movie or reading. I haven't really thought it out." I sat on the back of the couch and stretched, losing my balance. I ungracefully did a flip over the couch, landing on my knees in front of it. Keigo took a couple of hurried steps in my direction.
"Oh geez, careful! You're going to give me gray hair, you know."
I giggled as I adjusted my top back over my stomach. I was a bit embarrassed at my clumsy tumble as I answered him without thinking. "You'd rock it. It would make you even more attractive."He grinned at me as I immediately realized what slipped from my mouth. I didn't have a chance to say anything before he responded. "Oh really?~ You think I'm attractive already then?"
FUCK"Uh.. M-Maybe a little." I blushed so hard that I refused to look him in the eye. I turned to walk over to the hall toward my room. "I uh, I think I hear my phone, I'll grab it."
"Y'know, it's not a crime to admit you think someone is cute." I heard him following me down the hallway but he stopped at the entrance to my room. I walked over to my charger to glance at my phone. I saw him in the reflection of my screen watching me. He hadn't come any closer."You can come into my room Keigo.." He hesitated and I turned to look at him. "Keigo?"
He glances over at me still unsure if he should approach. "You really sure? You're okay with it?"
I put my phone down walking over to him."Are you a vampire that needs an invite? Of course! You're always welcome. I'm just sorry it's so plain."
He takes a step inside and looks around.
"Well, plain isn't the word. It's... simple. Organized. It's nice."
"Why do I sense that you have your guard up? You seem a bit uncomfortable that you're in my room.. at least that's how it comes off." I was watching him curiously.
He visibly blanched "Oh uh... It's... just that I don't often frequent a lady's bedroom.."
I giggled at this interesting information. "Oh come on. Like I'm going to take advantage of you. You're adorable."
He chuckled. It seemed liked he was finally relaxing and didn't seem as uncomfortable. "I wasn't concerned about that! I'd like to see you try and do so."
"I'm sure you would. Don't tempt me." I gently took hold of his wrist. "If if really makes you uncomfortable, we can go back in the living room."
His voice turned soft and low. "I'll take that challenge..."
