As time passed, I think we had been here for maybe a few hours. It was definitely the get away I needed to get my mind off all the negative that keeps coming up in my life. We finally were in a booth eating some food. The sparing match we were watching earlier ended in a draw. The guy that kept bothering me hasn't bothered me again since Mirio and the others stepped in. This is going great.
I made my way to the restroom to do my business and I felt my phone vibrate once I stepped out. It was Keigo and I answered.
"Hey Keigo. Everything is going great so far." I smiled, genuinely happy with how things were going.
"That's great chicky. You sound like you're having a good time. I was just checking up on you. Do you plan to stay for a bit longer?" He asked.
I thought about it and thought it wouldn't hurt to stay a bit longer.
"I may be staying a little longer. I hope that's alright." I was hoping he wouldn't mind.
I heard him chuckle a bit. "It's fine. Stay as long as you like. Just be safe chickadee."
I smiled on the other side of the phone. "Don't worry, I will."
I hung up and started to make my way back out to the booth when a someone tapped me on the shoulder.
"Hey there! Is this your first time here?" A young lady asked awfully cheery.
I was a bit taken aback seeing as how I don't know this girl but I wasn't going to be rude.
"Uh, Yeah. I'm here with a few friends." I glanced over where they were sitting. They were still eating and chatting with each other.
"Well, It's nice to meet you. It's my first time here too. Which school are you affiliated with? ..That is, if you don't mind me asking.."
She seemed curious. I figured maybe she just has me confused with someone else or something. I answered anyway. "I go to UA."
She practically beamed at my answer. "That's such an amazing school right? Have you met any Heroes? Oh! Do you have any favorite Heroes?"
"Um.. You're asking me a lot of questions.. Do you have me confused with someone else or something?" I tried to turn around to walk away front her, but she stepped in front of me with a pout.
"I'm just curious! I'm not confusing you with someone else. I just.. I never got into UA, so I was just curious about what it was like and all." She started to fidget with her fingers as she spoke and I thought that maybe I was a little too rude.
"Look, I'm sorry. I'm just being overly cautious with new people. There's many Heroes that work there that I have met and as for favorites.. My favorite Hero is Hawks. He has been since I first moved here."
Her eyes lit up. "He is pretty cool isn't he? He's so young too! Have you met him yet?"
She's really is talking my ear off here. I just want to get back to my friends and not be rude.
"Hey my friends are waiting for me. So, I really need to go back to them. Sorry." I didn't leave her any time to respond as I stepped around her and headed back towards my friends. I felt a grip on my wrist as I turned and she was smiling at me.
"I'll see you again soon I hope! My name is Hina." I blink a few times before she released my wrist and I answered, although reluctantly.
"Iris.." I waved her off as I walked over to my friends, sitting back down in the booth next to Hado.
"Everything okay Iris?" Hado asked me.
"Yeah. Everything is fine." Although I said everything was fine, I couldn't help but be a little irked at the strange girl that talked to me.
