New Beginnings

I walked through the school, heading straight towards the first year classroom, where I knew Kaoru would be at. I entered the classroom and saw Kaoru, so I immediately grabbed him by his arm and dragged him out of the room. I pulled him into an empty classroom, shutting the door behind us. 

When I finally got a good look at Kaoru, I noticed that he didn't look to good himself. He looked tired, the bags under his eyes were very noticeable. Just what happened between my brother and Kaoru?

"Alright, I need to know what has been going on with you two. I haven't seen you at our house and Tadashi has been acting weird. What is going on?"

Kaoru sighed leaning his head against a wall, not answering my question right away. But he soon explained everything that had happened, leading up to the present, and I honestly wanted to hit Kaoru on the head. I groaned hitting my head on the wall repeatedly, hating everything that has happened between these two.

"You're such an idiot. I thought you were more mature than your brother was, how can you be such an idiot? It makes so much sense now, my god. You need to talk to my brother, that's all I can say. Just have a talk with my brother, you freaking idiot."

Kaoru seemed to be confused, but I couldn't believe what had gone on between the two. Kaoru is such an idiot, I'll say it a thousand times. 

"Okay? I will."

I nodded my head, walking out of the room heading back to my class with Tamaki and Kyoya, getting through the long lessons I had for the day.

~Tadashi's POV~

I was working on a power point to show my dad all to prepare myself for when I take over his company in a couple years. Course there is never peace in my household, so hearing the rather erratic thumping coming closer to my door, I sighed. Then my door was slammed open to see an out of breath, Koharu hands on her knees looking exhausted.

"What do you want sis? I'm kind of busy at the moment."

She threw something at my face, then she booked it running out of the room. I felt a stack of something fall into my lap, and I looked down to see that it was just a bunch of homework. Why would she even throw that at me? She hasn't done that the last couple days. She's being weird today.

The next thing I knew, I was getting dragged downstairs to see a ginger haired twin that I happen to know very well. He had dark circles under his eyes, ones that I knew all too well. Was he not sleeping?

"Tadashi! I'm sorry! I didn't even think of how you would feel! I just wanted to get my brother to fight for what he wanted, that I completely blanked on your feelings! I am so sorry, I hope you can forgive me. I just want my brother to be happy and I-"

I put a hand over Kaoru's mouth, who was going to ramble out of pure anxiousness. He tends to do that when he gets nervous. 

"I know you did it for your brother, I just was hurt and jealous, like you practically took Haruhi out on a date. That would hurt anyone, it sucks going through that. I think you could have done that in a different way, but when it comes to your brother you tend to not think before you act."

Kaoru rubbed his neck, knowing that I was right. He loves his brother very much, which I would never get mad at.

"Just, do me a favor and never, and I mean never, do that again. I hated it more than you think I would. Not a good feeling, I don't want to feel like that again."

Kaoru smiled and hugged me, nodding his head. I wrapped my arms around him, feeling much better than I had been the last little while. I don't like being away from Kaoru, it feels wrong on so many levels. But this makes me feel much better, which I definitely needed.

~5 years later~

I was looking over a contract, checking to see if there were anything in said contract that I wouldn't like. I am currently working at my father's company, which has now become my company. My sister and Shiro are in college now, both working towards the careers that they want to. 

Koharu has decided to enter the medical field, while Shiro is actually planning on becoming a lawyer, following our mother's footsteps. Kaoru was also in college, but he was helping his mother with her fashion line along with Hikaru. Everyone still keeps in contact with one another, because we have always been close friends with each other.

Kaoru and I have stayed together ever since we made up at my old house, never doing anything stupid like that again. The both of us have decided that we didn't need to get married to each other, since it's illegal here. We didn't want to go through the trouble of getting married in another country, so we just decided to wear rings, without going through the official ceremony.

After such a long time of waiting, Tamaki and Haruhi did end up together in high school. We all knew that they would end up together, even Hikaru who was also into her at that time. I pitied him, although he did grow out of his affections for Haruhi, which I was happy for.

All in all, it wasn't too bad for everyone. We've had our ups and downs, but we always managed to get through everything. I was pretty content with my life the way it was now, even if the work load is annoying. 

The door opened and I looked up to see my favorite ginger haired twin walking through, a smile on his face. I set the contract down and got up, walking over to Kaoru smiling. We met each other halfway, and I leaned down giving a short, but sweet kiss. Yeah, all of us were going to be just fine.

This has been fun writing, wouldn't have finished it if it weren't for a great friend who I dedicated this chapter to. She's a damn good writer, who after thousands of years of asking, she finally got an account on Wattpad a couple weeks ago. I seriously recommend just following her, or reading a new story she has out. It's also a Ouran Fanfic, she is just a great writer overall. She helped me improve my writing with some great tips. She also writes longer chapters than I do, so that might be worth checking out. Now I'm done, peace out dudes!
