Jealousy Sucks

I knew Tamaki wouldn't be able to go to France with the rest of his class sadly. It was obvious to me but I decided not to say anything. I've been worried about Hikaru and Kaoru though. I heard from Kaoru after dealing with the damn raccoon, that he told Hikaru why he was irritated whenever Haruhi talked about Tamaki. It was obvious that he was in love with her for a long time. But I knew Kaoru was into her as well, not sure about now but I knew he was into her before. The twins always end up liking the same things, as well as people at times.

I arrived at school to see Hikaru acting off while Kaoru seemed to be normal. I thought that he would be acting weird as well, since he told Hikaru. Once Kaoru saw me he walked over to me grinning while Hikaru just stared at Kaoru. "Can we talk for a second Tadashi?" I quirked an eyebrow curious but nodded my head. He led me away from Hikaru and dragged me into an empty classroom shutting the door behind me. If he's looking for a hookup I refuse to do that at school.

"If this is some kind of sex thing, I'll leave you in here." Kaoru blushed a bright red shaking his head vigorously. I sighed in relief feeling the tension in my shoulders going away. "Okay then, what did you need to talk to me about?" He looked at the ground and I could feel his awkwardness so I let him gather his thoughts. "I have to make sure that Hikaru fights for Haruhi, he's such a dummy, he thinks that he should let her come to him. She wouldn't do that in a million years with her being in love with Tamaki! So, I have to do something a bit stupid!"

I didn't say anything and I was still trying to understand what he could have possibly meant by that. "What stupid thing would you have to do?" "I would have to make Hikaru jealous and so, I have to take Haruhi out on a date!" I felt sour hearing that coming from Kaoru. "Does that mean we are temporarily broken up? Just for your plan?" Kaoru nodded his head and I felt irritation bubbling up inside of me. "Okay, well I have to go. See you later." I rushed out of the empty classroom leaving the school.

I know I shouldn't have acted so childishly, I know it was stupid of me. But why the hell would you break up with someone, just to take someone else out on a date, to make some other guy jealous? It sounds and is, completely, utterly, stupid. The things that happen in my life are a fucking soap opera, I swear. I hopped onto my motorcycle and drove off to a bakery nearby. If anything can help me for the next couple days, it is definitely sweets. I don't want to be at school and sweets solve all my problems.

I entered the cafe to see my best friend, Yuki having a drink along with a sandwich. I ordered my food and walked over sitting across from her gaining her attention. "Hey Tadashi, aren't you supposed to be in school right now?" "I should be, but I didn't want to be there after how my morning turned out." She quirked an eyebrow and I sighed, knowing she wants me to explain. "Kaoru broke up with me, just to get Hikaru jealous so he fights for Haruhi to gain her attention."

"Mind giving me more info than that? Sounds like there's a whole story to it." "Okay, so basically Hikaru and Kaoru are into her. Well, Kaoru was into her I believe. But Haruhi is into Tamaki, who doesn't even realize that he's into her. It's basically become this high school soap opera show, and I just lost my boyfriend for a couple days." She seemed to understand my salty mood by now. "How stupid are these guys? Seriously, I understand that Kaoru loves his twin, but he should have also taken your feelings into consideration, along with how idiotic this idea was."

"Finally someone agrees with me!" "It may be best to not go to school for the next couple days, to avoid lashing out. Knowing you, you would probably lash out the moment you saw him leaving you both hurt." I sighed knowing she was completely right. I just have to occupy myself with my studies and the family business. "But you certainly have an interesting life, I'm kind of glad I'm not involved with the host club." "I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, but it's probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me, you know?"

"I'd understand that, just don't do something stupid." I scoffed rolling my eyes at that statement. "Have you met the host club? They always do something stupid which means I'll get roped into it!" She giggled drinking her tea having a smile on her face. "You should get home Tadashi, you probably don't want to be seen cutting school with the paparazzi lurking about." I groaned completely forgetting about the paparazzi, probably because I haven't seen them in awhile. I don't usually go out anymore, so I don't see them as much as I used to. "Yeah, completely forgot about them, see you later Yuki."

I hurried out of the bakery driving home entering the house changing clothes and grabbing my blankets. I walked over to my parent's bedroom and entered the room to see my mother reading a book. She looked up and she set her book down rushing over to me. "Let's get out your favorite movie, alright?" I nodded my head following her to the living room. She put it in and I laid my head in her lap imagining Kaoru taking Haruhi out on a date. "What happened, little lime?" "I don't like jealousy, mama."
