"Dad please?" The girl asked.
"No." The old man said.
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please, please, please?" The girl begged. I was ready to bang my head against a door. Come on man, just let her. Wait. Let her do what?
"FINE!!!" The man shouted. He went inside and came out with the saddle and bridle. Not this again. Five boys were sitting on the fence. One was leaning against the fence. A woman was standing next to the boy. The man put the saddle and bridle on me.
"Thanks, dad." She said. I rolled my eyes. She's being a pain in the butt.
"Emily, be careful. This horse is wild, and he pretty much got everyone off of his back. Even your old man here." The man said. I felt hurt. I'm not wild, I'm a stubborn horse who doesn't like any of the people here.
"Chris she'll be fine, she has your fighting spirit." The woman said. The girl put on her hat. She was wearing a flannel, with jeans, and cowgirl boots. She walked up to me. I snorted and stomped my feet.
"Emily!" The man said again. He had fear in his tone.
"Dad, I got this. I'm not a little girl anymore." She snapped. Ya dad, she's not a little girl. Wait, who's not a little girl. The girl walked up to me while I must've been distracted. She mounted onto me. Right away I started jumping around. She was hanging on.
"Go Emily." Someone shouted. I reared up. Then started jumping around and bucking. I heard her laugh.
"That's all you got?" She asked. I jumped and did a full turn in mid-air. When I landed, she laughed again. What's wrong with this girl? I started panting. It was really hot out here. I slowed down to a stop. She got off and patted my neck. This girl just broke me. She walked away, then came back with a bucket. The bucket was full of water. I looked at her. She smiled at me. I went to take a drink. She rubbed my neck while I was drinking. This girl is not what I expected.
