Chara Smith

When Sans opened their eye sockets,while theireye lights were still rainbow,they saw Chara was standing in front of them,back to normal and crying into her hands.She wiped her tears on her sweater's sleeve as she looked at Sans.

"I am so sorry."Chara said as her eyes watery while she wiped them off again.

"I always was a cry baby,wasn't I,Asriel?"Chara asked as Sans frowns.

"I know.You are not actually Asriel,are you?Asriel has been gone a long time."Chara said as Sans nods. 

"Yeah,He has been."Sans said.

"Yeah,since I got a better look at you,you don't even look like Asriel at all.I guess I've been alone for so long that I couldn't tell the difference."Chara said as she chuckles,while Sans giggles.

"What's your name?"Chara asked as Sans smiles.

"My name's Sans."Sans said as Chara smiles.

"'Sans?' That is...That is a nice name."Chara said as she smiles even wider.

"Sans...I haven't felt like this for a long time.As a flower,I was soulless.I lacked the ability to love other people.However,with everyone's SOULs inside me...I not only have my own compassion back...But I can feel every other human's as well."Chara said as Sans smiles.

"They all care about each other so much.And...They care about you too,Sans.I wish I could tell you how everyone feels about you."Chara said.

"Alex...Frisk...Ava...Rocky...Emma...Mom...Dad..."Chara said before going silent for a moment.

"Humans are weird.Even though they barely know you...It feels like they all really love you. Haha."Chara said with a chuckle before frowning.

"Sans...I...I understand if you can't forgive me.I understand if you hate me.I acted so crazy and horrible.I hurt you.I hurt so many people.Friends...Family...Bystanders...There is no excuse for what I have done."Chara said as she wiped the tears from her eyes as Sans frowns.They walked up to Chara and looks at her.

"Chara,I'll always forgive you!You have been through so much,and no one knew!I've forgiven everyone.So of course I'll forgive you,okay?I just want to SAVE you I want to SAVE everyone."Sans said as Chara smiles. 

"What?Come on,Sans...You are just going to make me cry again.Besides...Even if you do forgive me...I cannot keep these SOULs.They do not belong to me.The least I can do is return them."Chara said as she turned to look behind her,looking at the barrier.

"But first...There is something that I must do.A promise I have to keep.Right now,I can feel every human and monster soul beating with the same desire...All as one.It is time.With all of their power...With all of their DETERMINATION...It is time for humans... To finally be free."Chara said as Sans gasps.

Chara faced the barrier.She conjured all of the power from the souls.Sans saw the souls.The colorful monster souls and the white human souls.There were thousands of human souls,while their were only six monster souls.Chara began to rise with the pure power she was wielding.Chara took all of the soul power she possessed...And attacked the barrier with all of her might.

Sans watched in shock as Chara attacked the barrier.Then...It cracke as it split in half,dissipating.

The barrier was destroyed.

Chara slowly floated back down.She looked very tired than before,ss she had a tired smile on her face as she was panting.She no longer had the souls within her.

Chara turns towards Sans.

"Sans...I have to go now."Chara said as Sans gasps.

"Wh-What!"Sans asked as Chara frowns.

"Without the power of everyone's souls...I cannot maintain this form.In a little while...I will turn back into a flower.I will stop being... 'me.' I will stop being able to feel love again."Chara said as she began to cry while still smiling.

"However...I never forget the kindness you gave me...But I harmed a lot of people you care about"Chara said as Sans starts to cry.

"So...Maybe it is best...If you just forget about me...Okay?Go be with the people who love you..."Chara said as Sans walks up to her and hugs her tightly.

Chara hugs them back as she shaking and cried.

"Ha...Ha...I do not want to let go..."Chara said as she pulled away from Sans,with a teary smile.

"Sans...You are...You are going to do an amazing job,okay?No matter what you do.Everyone will always be there for you, okay?"Chara said as she turned aroun.

"Well.My time is running out.Goodbye,my friend."Chara said as she began to walk away.But then she stopped as she turned to look to Sans.

"By the way...Sans.Take care of mom and dad for me,okay?They're my parents as they are yours...So before I leave I just want to know that I have someone to make sure they are happy."Chara said as Sans nods.

"I will...I promise...Goodbye,Chara."Sans said as Chara waves while she left the barrier room,leaving.

Sans started to feel sleepy as they began to stumble back and fell to the ground.They looked up to the ceiling as they started to fall asleep,they smiled as they closed their eye sockets.

Everything went dark as voices can be heard.
