I immediately turned around and went straight back into the kitchen.

What the hell? I slowly asked who he was on the phone with.

I heard them chuckling and talking amongst themselves.

After a minute or two, I heard them dap each other up saying "alright bro," before the door shut.

Mikey walked into the kitchen and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"What you shy now or something?" He chuckled.

"Why didn't you tell me that Larry was coming?"

"What's wrong with him being here? It's my house," he shrugged and taste-tested the taco meat.

"If he knew that I was here with you he'd kill me,"

"I wouldn't let him get that far,"

"You're not taking me seriously," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"And you're making a big deal out of this for no reason. Chill, you're being dramatic,"

"I haven't known you for long, but I'm gonna be honest. I don't like this side of you,"

"And sweetheart I don't like people that annoy me. So if you're gonna continue to do that let me know now, and I'll kindly show you out,"

I scoff and storm out of the living room going to sit on the couch.

I'd leave but the drive out here was hectic because for some reason there was heavy traffic tonight.

I'll eat then dip.

"Hey," Mikey says coming out of the kitchen 15 minutes later.

I nod at him signaling for him to continue.

"Foods done,"

I go into the kitchen to see that he had already made my tacos for me just the way that I like them.

"Thank you," I sit onto one of the stools.

He sits across from me which pisses me off because honestly, I don't wanna look at him.

"You mad at me," I started eating.

"I don't talk while I eat,"

"You're doing that now,"

"I'm not mad at you,"

"Then what's the issue?"

"There isn't one, you're the one that bought this up again,"

"Cause I wanna know why you were acting like that,"

"My brother doesn't want me hanging around you," I bluntly say.

"Why?" He asks.

"You're his 22-year-old friend, and I'm his 17-year-old sister. Shits kinda weird when you think about it,"
