I sigh as I think about everything that happened today.

From Larry and Dad's argument to me almost kissing a grown-ass man.

I would've kissed him but..he's grown.

I mean so what I'll be eighteen in a few months.

I'm underage and I don't wanna cause any problems for him.

And my family probably wouldn't even approve.

Then again, when do they ever approve of something that I do?

I stare down at my phone contemplating whether or not I wanted to respond to the simple text message from Mikey.

Have you ever felt totally wrong as you're about to do something but you do it anyway just to see what happens?

That's how I feel about responding to his text.

I know that it's just a text, but I just have this strange feeling in my gut about him. I can't tell whether or not it's good or bad, and that's what has me so...intrigued.

All he sent was "I had fun with you today,"

I mean all we did was talk. Then I dodged a kiss. What was fun?

I responded to the text with a simple "Me too,"

I then saw that I had an incoming FaceTime call from him.

I got up to close my door so that I could talk to him without any disruptions.

"Hello," I answered.

"Hey what you doing,"

"Nothing really,"

"Oh well, I'm bored,"

"Okayyyy so why'd you call me?" I awkwardly laugh.

"Cause you're nice. And easy to talk to. Not everyone's like that,"

"Thanks, I guess," I smile.

"Mhm, now tell me a lil bit about yourself,"

"Uhh, I'm a senior in high school. I turn 18 in a few months. And I play soccer,"

"Damn you young," he laughs. "And Larry always showing somebody your soccer highlights,"

"That's my brother, I laugh. "Tell me something about you,"

"Everything you'd wanna know about me is out there already," he shrugs.

"But I don't look at any of that stuff so tell me about you. The real you,"

"Uhh well I'm 22, you already know that. I got a younger brother and sister, and yeah..." he trails off.

"What's your favorite color?" I ask.

"It changes, what's yours?" He asks.

"Mine changes too, what's your favorite food,"

"Prolly wings,"
