Andy's pov
Jason was a wreck. He was shaking and couldn't talk or stand. He's not able to function. What the fuck did that girl do?! "I've never seen someone who's bond gets broken." Jamie says, her arms wrapped around herself. She was so scared. She can change everyone else's emotions but not her own. I hug her. "I didn't think it w-was even possible." "In all my years, I've never witnessed it or known anyone who has." George says, looking worried. Man. If he's worried, we're definitely in trouble. "Jason, dude, come back to us." No response." Star draped a blanket over his shaking shoulders as he sat on the floor. Blood still poured out of the bullet wound. "Somebody go get some blood. He's going to need it." George says, wrapping his shoulder in gauze. I nervously head for the door. Will he need it because I shot him or because of this shit with Miranda. I find some random woman and bring her back tranced. He still hadn't moved. His eyes were bloodshot. I shove the girl in front of him. "You need to feed, Jase." He stared ahead dazed and unresponsive. I pushed her closer to him and cut her arm, hoping the smell would snap him out of it. Nothing. "What do we do, George?" "I... I don't know. How does one recover from this? I have no knowledge on a recovery method." George is scared out of his wits. Ok now I'm pissed. "Someone try and get him to feed." I say, stomping to the door. "Where are you going?" "To find Miranda. Maybe she can knock some sense into him." Suddenly he screams and falls into the wall. "Jason!" Jamie gasps, running to him. She started crying from fear. "Why isn't it working?!" She shouts, crying into her hands. Man. Poor Jamie.
Miranda's pov
Why am I so sad? I guess because I thought I'd spend eternity with Jason but he doesn't want me. He picked those lousy jerks over me. All because I wanted to show some compassion to Fae. An innocent sweet woman, in severe pain. "Hey what's wrong?" Luca asks, sitting beside me. "I don't know. I'm just so upset." "About what?" "I... I thought it was my... Jason... He just abandoned me. H-He didn't love me enough to stand up for me when they kicked me out." "What do you mean?" "I saw Fae when she was human. She got attacked and started turning. Jason was mad that I wanted to help her. Then they made me leave." "Who's this Jason?" "Someone I thought was my friend. Boy was I wrong." He sighs and hugs me. "Well ya don't gotta worry about him hurting you again. I'll protect you." A big part of me hates to hate him. That part wants me to run back to him. Even though he doesn't want me. Luca teleports us back to that vamp club. "Take a load off." He says, gently pushing me into a booth. A few seats down, I see a couple going at it, biting each other and shit. It made me sick to my stomach. "Oh Jason." I whimper wanting to cry. I force myself not to. Heartbreak is a part of life. I just didn't expect it to be a part of vampire life. He brings over some blood. "Where does this place get it?" "Blood banks from hospitals. See not all vamps are monsters." He says, smiling. I thought Jason and his "family" weren't either. Yet another thing I was wrong about. They could've been doing this instead of killing people. I sigh and down the glass then lay against Luca's shoulder. "There you are." I jump slightly in surprise. "What do you want?" I gripe, glaring at Andy. Luca wrapped an arm around me, protectively. "You little whore. It hasn't even been a day! How could you?" "Oh fuck off!" I yelp. "This the Jason?" I shake my head. "Just his little bitch." "Why you?!" He yells, grabbing my arms and throwing me across the room. "You let that guy bite you, didn't you?!" He yells, stomping over. "So what?!" I snap, standing up, pain engulfing me. "You're such a prick!" He growls, grabbing my shirt and slamming me into the wall. "WHAT'S YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM, ANDY!!?" I yell infuriated. "You broke him! You completely fucking broke him!" Huh? "What do you mean?!" "Letting that guy bite you... And I'm betting you bit him too? You broke the bond and Jason's a fucking wreck!" He drops me to the ground. "You should be ashamed!" My stomach twists in knots. "LAY OFF MY WOMAN!" Luca yells, teleporting in between us, causing Andy to take a startled step back. "Your woman?" He whispers, angrily. Then suddenly fire in his eyes as he lunged at Luca. They got into a scuffle but with Andy's super strength, Luca was losing. I was crying and scared. Then they fell into a table and chairs, breaking parts of it. He picks up a piece of wood. Oh no! I run in between them as fast as I can. "DON'T!!" He freezes, ready to kill Luca but stops to avoid hitting me. "The only reason I don't kill you right fucking now... Is cause maybe you can bring him back!" He growls through grit teeth, grabbing my arms. "No!" Luca gasps on the ground. I tried to pull free but of course I couldn't and he ran to the house. He shoved me to the ground. "What in God's name did you do last night?!" George yells in my face. "Why's it any of your business?!" I gripe. Jamie furiously walked over and slapped me in the face. I fall backwards in surprise. "You better fix this." She says, her voice shaking. "You better fix my brother!" She yells, grabbing my shirt and shaking me. "What the heck is going on?!" "You shattered a very fragile, very deep, emotional bond between you two." George says. Huh? "What're you talking about?" "The marriage you idiot! Being with another guy last night broke your bond!" Andy yells. "Who the fuck cares?! None of you want me here! Jason didn't even stand up for me! Hell he doesn't care about me!" "Wanna bet." Andy says, grabbing me by the hair and yanking me to my feet. I scream in both anger and pain. He drags me, screaming to a door and opens it. He shoves me in and slams it shut. I turn around and was shocked by what I saw. He was shaking and staring in space. "Jason... What... What happened to you?" There was a woman tranced in the corner of the room. The door opened. "He's been like this since you found that Luca guy. He won't feed." "Why is... I thought he..... I'm so..." I shakily turn around. "I thought h-he didn't want me anymore." "No ya dingus he's the only one who didn't want you to leave after that shit stunt you pulled." He says, crossing his arms. How do I fix him? I turn back to Jason. What do I do? I walk over to him and grab his shoulders. "Hey can you hear me?" No response. Does he even know I'm here. He needs to feed. "You're a piece of work." Andy gripes, leaning against the door. "And trust me when I say this. If you can't fix him, Jamie and I will personally make sure the rest of your existence is a living fucking hell." He whispers, walking out and slamming the door. I can't believe this happened. "I... I didn't think you w-wanted me anymore. I.... I thought your feelings had changed." He froze, still staring straight through me. He closed his eyes. "Jason-" "I got a hardhead." He whispers. "I get that from my dad and I overreact maybe just a tad. I put up walls to show the world I'm tough." He whisper sings. "When I don't get my way.... I get difficult... But when it comes.... To lovin' me.... Baby you.... Make it look so easy." Tears well up in my eyes. "You're my refuge from the road. My safe place to go... When I'm out here livin' on this ledge. Sometimes I drink til I fall down... But you arms save me from the ground and hold me.... Til all the hurt is gone." "Jason stop." I say, grabbing his shoulders. His breathing hitched. He opened his eyes, shaking again. "I'm so sorry." I whisper. "I didn't mean... I didn't want this to happen. I didn't know this would happen." I whimper shakily. Tears welled up in his eyes. "D-Do you love me?" I nod, hugging him. "Of course I do. I thought you stopped loving me. I used anger to combat the sadness. I'm sorry." He hugged me tight. "You need to feed." He shakes his head. "I'm tired of hurting people... I don't want to keep hurting them." "You have to, Jason." I say, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the woman. "I'm s-sorry ma'am." He says, getting on his knees and biting her. Phew. I have my Jason back.
