Jason's pov
"No.... I'm sorry...."
*in his dream*
Flashes of memories fly passed me in a never ending fast torrent, leaving me dazed and confused. Everything suddenly freezes and my unbeating heart stops again. Her. "Please understand! I can't lose you again but.... I'm not allowed to let you go." She was panicked against the wall. "No! Don't!" She screams, terror in her soft blue eyes. "I've got to." "I will never forgive you!!!!!"
*he wakes up*
That rings in my head. I will never forgive you.... I will never forgive you..... I will never forgive you. My brain is pumping in overdrive. I shakily stumble to my feet, breathing fast. She's asleep beside me. Unaware of what's gonna happen in a few hours. I stare at her for what feels like eternity. She.... She's so beautiful... And amazing. I..... Love looking at her. Her hair is perfect. Even though she's been sleeping.
Miranda's pov
I feel like someone is watching me. I squint from waking up and my heart pounds fast, seeing Jason staring dead at me. I shakily sit up. "How um... How long have you..... Been watching me?" I ask slightly creeped out. I mean I don't even know him anymore. He's a completely different person now. "I um I'm sorry I just... I woke up... And forgot you were sleeping here.... And I..... You.... You looked so....." "Delectable?" I gripe, glaring at him. His eyes go wide. "N-No Miranda that isn't what I meant I swear. I mean... You... You looked so beautiful." I freeze in surprise, caught off guard. He looks away, blushing, I can see his fangs again. I stand up. He looks worried. "We have to talk." He shakily says. "Well can I get something to eat first I'm starved?" Surprise is written in his eyes. "I.... It's been six years since I've eaten real food." Holy cow! "You mean to say it's been six long years since you've eaten.... Mouthwatering.... Crispy..... Syrupy bacon!" I gasp playing around. His eyes widen. "Miranda stop!" "Or popcorn! You loved popcorn!" I tease him. "Stop that. Please I'm serious." I laugh. "Or ooh how about pizza with pepperoni and peppers!" Before I can breathe, he slams me into the wall, making my body tense in fear. His eyes glow red and his fangs are bared. "You've.... Got to stop. You don't...... You can't do that." His hands are shaking. I can tell he's fighting himself. "I.... I'm sorry." I whimper. "I was just playing.... L-Like we used to.... P-Please don't hurt me!" Tears start rushing down my face. His eyes change back into their natural color. "I... I'm sorry.... My.... You're making me so fucking hungry." He's not talking about food like I was joking around with him. He's talking about blood. I back up as far as I can into the wall. "I'm sorry.. I didn't... I'd never hurt you, Miranda!" He almost did just now! I've got to figure out how to get out of here. "S-Seriously I haven't eaten s-since y-yesterday... Is there anyway.... Someone-" "I'll send someone but I'm afraid to leave you." "Why?" He looks away, a tear sliding down his cheek. "I.... I'm... I'm scared.... You're... You're gonna l-leave me... I... I c-can't bare to lose you again." I bite my lip, remembering what I was thinking about just a second ago. "I'm scared, Jason." I whimper. He walks over. I scream in fear and slide to the floor. "Don't hurt me!" Shit. I didn't want to do that. I'm just scared. "I..... I'm sorry.... I didn't.... I never meant to..." His voice trails off as tears fill his eyes. "Jason..... I..." "It's not your fault. I can't control myself around you." Can't control himself? He holds a hand out which I shakily slip my own into his. He helps me stand up, my legs wobbly and weak from fear. He wraps his arms around my waist, holding me up. "Are you alright? You feel ten times heavier all of a sudden." I glare at him. "Ha Ha real funny." He stares at me worriedly. No hint of laughter on his face. He sighs deeply and we go out to the main room where everyone is. They all look sad. "What's....." "Honey you don't have to worry about being hungry." His grip on my waist gets tight. "Jason... I..." He makes me sit down. The rest of them gather around. "I'm sorry I have to do this.... I hate it... But there's nothing else I can do... I can't let you go and I can't watch you die. But think of it this way. You'll be eternally as beautiful as you are now." His fangs extend again. My body freezes in fear. "No!" I cry weakly, my voice tiny and my breath fearful. "Please don't hate me when I do this." He grabs my shoulders. "NOOOOO!!!" I yell, freaking out. The chair falls. I run as fast as I can to the door. But someone tackles me. "What am I doing here, man?" The boy overtop of me asks. I can hear Jason trying not to cry as I panic. "I can't do it to her. I just can't do it!" He gasps. "Then don't!!" I yell. "I don't want to be a vampire!" He turns me over, staring hungrily at me. Fear seeps into me. I see in my peripheral, Jason on his knees crying into his hands. A few of his friends around him. "If you want to, one of us could do it." The girl says hugging him. "She's gonna hate me." He whispers. The boy overtop of me has my arms pinned. "PLEASE DON'T BITE ME!" I screech thrashing. He forces me up, pinning my hands behind me. "Tell me what to do, Jase. What do you want to do?" "I don't know!" He yells frustrated. "Ok that's it!" "Andy no!" The guy with a beard yells. I don't remember who's who. "I'm going to turn her and get it over with. I'll do it for him! She can hate me. I don't give a damn." The older guy walks over to Jason. "It's gonna be okay." He says. "What do I do, George?" He whispers. "Give the command and Andy'll take care of her for you." He looks at me, sadly. "I'm sorry." He whispers. "B-But I can't lose you again." "Don't let him bite me, please I'm begging!" I whimper. He sighs. "Do it, man." He says and closes his eyes. I slam my head back and thrash around, trying to break free. "Sorry girl." He wrenched my head back, I can't move. "No. Please." I whisper But I feel the soft painful prick of his fangs. The pain unbearable as it sears through me. I scream louder than I've ever screamed before.
