Kim asked me if my panic attacks were common. They weren't. Anxiety and stress were common for me, but for them to cause panic attacks were rare. When we got home she suggested maybe finding a book to read. I thought it was a wonderful idea. I loved reading! And she had many books I had not read. I looked through them and found one that spiked my interest:
'The Element Beings'
When I was young I had dreams about 'Element Fours'. There were four elements: fire, water, ice and electric. It wasn't the normal four choices. There would be four people that could control each element and had abilities alongside this. The elements beings book was such like my fairytales. Such that it scared me. The only difference was that there were 14 elements. I suddenly thought of that one time the orphanage took us to the swimming pool. I stayed underwater the whole time. We were there for 2 hours. I HAD to ask Kim about this.
"Kim?" I asked peeking into the living room.
"Yes Lunar?" She asked as I sat down.
"Well I was reading this book.." I said showing her the book. Her face fell.
"I should've taken that off the shelf".
"So it's true then? I thought it was. I'm almost 100% certain that I'm a water element being" I told her. She didn't look surprised or confused. All she said was show me. What? The only reason I was sure was because of that time at the pool. How was I supposed to show her that? She noticed my confused look,
"Ok so how are you so sure your a water element being then?" She asked. I explained to her that time at the pool. "So let's go to the pool then!" She exclaimed.
"But I don't have a costume!" I laughed. She grabbed my hand,
"I'll buy you one there as well as some goggles!" We were out the door.
"But I don't need goggles!" I laughed buckling myself into the car.We drove to the leisure centre and picked out a costume before heading to the changing rooms. We changed and headed to the pool. Kim observed me underwater and agreed with my assumption. She also admitted to being in the flux category.
A/N The Element Beings Book is on my profile - read it? It explains a lot and will clear any future confusions xxxx
