{Toni's POV}

'Hey Veronica,' Cheryl said, rising from her chair as she answered her phone.

'Yeah, she's okay, we're going to be released today and I'll take her to Thistlehouse to care for her,' Cheryl told Veronica, I was unable to make out what the other girl was saying.

Pacing around the room, I saw Cheryl's face fall 'don't worry about my mother, she's out with one of her clients,' she said, I realised that Veronica must've asked about Cheryl's mom with me going to stay at her house for a while.

Shortly after, Cheryl hung up the phone.

'You told Veronica about your mother's work?' I asked, knowing that she didn't like to acknowledge what she did.

'Yeah, she was prying a couple of weeks ago so I figured I may as well tell her,' she explained, an embarrassed look on her face. 'Anyway,' she continued, 'Veronica said to tell her when we get to my place so that she can come visit you, is that okay?' She asked, genuinely caring for me.

'Yeah, I don't mind,' I told her, really meaning it.

A few moments later, a nurse walked in with a bandage in her hand, ready to put my broken hand into its cast.

'Let's get you out of here then TT,' I said excitingly, after the nurse had finished wrapping her hand.

Managing to swing herself around so that her feet were over the edge of the bed, I brought her wheelchair over to her.

'Do I have to use this?' She whined, clearly not wanting to be bed bound for the next few days.

'Just until you have more strength in your leg,' I explained, 'if you hadn't have punched the guy and broken your hand, you could've just used crutches, but that's your own fault,' I joked, enjoying teasing her.

Once we reached my car, I helped her climb into the passenger side and folded up her wheelchair, putting it on the back seat.

'How far is Thistlehouse?' She asked as I turned on the engine.

'Only about 10 minutes,' I said, glancing across to her and smiling. She really is beautiful, even with dark circles under her eyes and tear stains on her face.

'Got a staring problem Blossom?' She asked, I blushed, averting my eyes back to the road ahead.

{Toni's POV}

As we pulled into a private road in the suburbs of Riverdale, the incredible mansion that is Thistlehouse came into view.

Its 19th century design made it feel very secluded and there weren't any houses for miles. In classic Cheryl style, the window shutters were a deep red colour, contrasting with the green moss in a truly magical way. It was like a castle out of a Disney movie, and next to me sat my princess.

'You okay, TT?' She asked, jerking me from my thoughts, 'it's not that impressive,' she said.

'Anything bigger than a trailer is impressive to me,' I told her, laughing it off.

Once inside the house, we got to the stairs.

'How am I going to get up the stairs?' I asked Cheryl, laughing.

'I have an idea,' the redhead announced, a mischievous look in her eyes.

In one swift movement, I felt her stand me up from my chair, I put all of my weight onto my right leg, and she gently but firmly wrapped her arms around my legs, her back underneath my waist.
