4 months later...
{Cheryl's POV}
Riding back to Riverdale on Toni's motorbike, I thought about how far we had come over the summer.
We had spent the last 3 months travelling all around America. My favourite place that we went to was Centreville, Illinois. It was so interesting to see the cultural difference between that town and the town I had been raised in for my entire life.
I knew that Toni loved going to Utah, she loved the outdoors, we got to try zip-lining and horseback riding.
Both of our favourite memories were those of each other, all the nights we spent under the stars, staring at the moon and all the days that we'd go exploring in the wilderness together, underneath the heat of the sun.
Although we had to go back to Riverdale to do our senior year, I knew that this year would be the best yet.
Toni was doing much better mentally, I think that escaping for a while was the perfect thing that could've happened for her. We also had Thistlehouse all to ourselves and Nana Rose, because I was emancipated.
So here's to the future. I know that whatever it brings, good or bad, I will have my soulmate by my side every step of the way. And I couldn't ask for anything more than that.
