Someone shaking me had finally snapped me out of my frozen state.
I look up to see Carson standing above me with concern written all over his face.
I was yanked from my position and right into his arms. He possessively held me while rubbing my back to sooth me.
I look around to see the classroom clear of everyone but the the kid from earlier, Carson, and me.
"Hey are you okay" the kid said breaking the silence.
I nod my head while giving a fake smile.
I could feel Carson tense as me and the kid talked. I didn't know why but he had pulled me closer as it went on.
"My name is Lucas by the way" He said pushing his glasses up shyly.
Before i could even talk Carson spoke for me.
"She doesn't care. Now stop bothering us and run along" He growled out at Lucas making him jump and hurry out fo the classroom.
I wanted to yell at Carson but i didn't have the energy to.
"It's okay baby, i got you" He mumbled while pulling me closer which honestly was almost impossible and giving me a kiss on my cheek.
A smile for some reason had made its way to my lips before everything went black.
