The smirk on Carson's face disappeared and immediately was replace with anger as well as relief.
"You are so fucking lucky i'd never hurt you" He growled out while trying to stay calm.
Before i could even stop what came out of my mouth, it just spewed out. "You have hurt me many times, what's stopping you now".
Immediately i gasp and i shut my eyes waiting for the impact but it never came.
I opened my eyes slowly to see Carson still over me with shock and pain..?written on his face.
Almost instantaneously it was wiped away and replaced by his emotionless stare.
"Get the fuck up. We are going home" He growled out angrily before letting me go, getting up, and stomping down the stairs of the treehouse.
After a few seconds i could breath again. Carson was the one person who could constantly leave me breathless.
I slowly stood up and grabbed everything i needed and began to walk to the door.
I inhaled sharply when i felt pain in my ankle from when i had jumped on it. Honestly i completely forgot about it until now. Luckily it's not as bad as it was in the beginning.
I finally get down the stairs to see Carson's car in the distance ahead. A sigh left my lips as i began walking to the car while trying to avoid a lot of pressure on my ankle.
Every step felt like my ankle was on fire but i had to get to the car.
I could see Carson in the distance with a cigarette in his hand and an angry looking expression. His eyes watched my every move as i walked slowly.
I took a deep breath in and shut my eyes for a second before running like i was on fire.
I could tell his patience was running out by every step i took so i had to hurry.
My ankle was pretty much screaming at me every step, telling me to stop but i just pushed through it and continued running.
I wanted to scream and cry once i had finally got to the car. I was in so much pain but it didn't matter. Carson wouldn't care if i told him and i couldn't do much about it so i just opened the door and hopped in the back before he could question me at all.
Before Carson got into the car i lifted my pants up to look at my ankle to see it was a very dark purple color and very swollen. I hurried and put my pants back down at the sound of the car door opening.
"What the fuck are you doing? Get in the front now" Carson growled out impatiently
A quiet groan escaped my lips. "Might as well call animal control if you keep growling like that" I couldn't help but mumble as i got out of the car and got into the front passenger seat without stepping on the ankle that was injured.
I closed the door and couldn't help but glance at Carson who was looking at me with.. amusement?
"What's so funny" escaped my lips before i could even process it.
"Animal control huh" He said as his amusement grew. My face flushed when i realized he had heard me. "Yeah so what" i grumbled before looking away and leaning against the door.
A slight chuckle had came from Carson before the car was started and he began to drive.
