Both go their faces had become so unfamiliar to me it almost made me sick.
My mother and father stood right in front of me. My heart dropped a little seeing both of them. It's been awhile honestly.
I observe both of them and immediately i could tell something was wrong.
My mother's nervous smile and her finger twitching like she always used to do. My father had some what of a smile on his face instead of his normal blank emotionless face.
I nodded my head at the two and walked into the kitchen and sat down. Both had followed me cautiously like i would explode.
I mean they are the ones who got me checked for anger issues.
I stared at them waiting for one to speak but both seemed hesitant.
"Well honey.. you know how we are never here and all-" my mother had started off but i could feel my fist clenched and they both had took notice to my action.
"Carson Brown will be staying with you to keep you safe" My fathers voice came out confidently as he cut off mother.
My face immediately fell into a frown and i could feel myself get angrier and nervous at the same time.
"N-no" i managed to choke out to them. Both faces held shock. They still believe we are best friends like we used to be. The loving kids who were inseparable.
"honey-" once again mother was cut off by my father. "You have no say in the matter. He is staying here and that's final" His voice seemed to boom through the silent house.
I shut my eyes and took a deep breath managing to calm down.
"Then i will be moving out" My voice came out very quiet and calm causing more shock to take over my mother's face and anger for my father.
"Stop acting like a child! You will be staying here as well as YOUR BESTFRIEND Carson Brown!" Fathers tone held that it was final but i didn't care.
An uncomfortable silence took over for a few seconds. I opened my mouth to speak but before a word could leave it, there was a knock on the door.
I could feel my body tense more than it already was and my fists clenched once again.
I knew who it was and so did they. The smile that took over my mother's face confirmed it.
"He's here!" My mother squealed like a child before dragging my father to the door.
Immediately i rushes upstairs and locked my doors. I grabbed my suitcase and immediately shoved all my stuff that was essentials into it.
I could hear the voices of my father and Carson down stairs talking. I couldn't figure out what they were saying i just knew they were talking.
After grabbing all my stuff i needed i dragged it to my window and looked down.
"Luckily nothings glass or breakable" i mumbled to myself before throwing it out the window into a bush.
I jumped at the sound of knocking on my door. "A open up" Carson said sounding angry slightly.
"Er give me a second! I'm changing" i yelled hoping he'd fall for it.
i could hear him sigh loudly before responding. "Okay just meet me downstairs. I'll be in the living room with your parents"
when i could hear his footsteps fading i hurried and started trying to get down.
I looked down to see i was on the second floor which made me nervous in jumping down but i brushed it aside and went for it.
I almost let out a loud scream when i felt my ankle twist as i landed but i managed to hold it in.
i somehow pushed myself up and grabbed the bag and began to run. i finally got to my car and immediately put my stuff in the trunk and got in.
I could feel tears stream down my face due to the pain in my ankle but i couldn't give up now.
I started the car and began to pull out when the front door slammed open and walked out Carson looking furious.
"I SWEAR IF YOU FUCKING LEAVE AUTUMN! ITS NOT GONNA END WELL" His voice boomed through the neighborhood causing shivers to run down my spine.
My eyes slightly widened when our eyes connected. I quickly broke eye contact and zoomed off.
I wasn't going to stay with Carson. No fucking way
