The consistent beating of her heart had kept Carson at some what of an ease.

Worry and even a little fear filled his veins and haunted him. He was scared for the first time in a long time.

He was beyond furious with the small girl. He had spent ever second looking for her and he finally found her in the most obvious place.

The days she had gone missing felt like torture to him. Like a knife was slowly being dragged down his body every second he was away from her.

Carson laid under the small girl in his arms peacefully. For him, he could stay there forever. But everything good comes to an end.

The small girl on top of him began to squirm and breath heavily.

Carson slowly slide her off of him and onto the spot next to him before he had left the room.

Seconds later she began shaking and screaming causing Carson to immediately tense and rush back into the room.

Autumn trashed on the bed while continuing to scream.

"Autumn it's okay. It's just a dream! Wake up"

Autumn's screams came to a stop but her cries didn't.

"No! Stop! Momma! It will be o-okay. D-don't shut your eyes" Autumn began mumbling to herself while shaking.

"I'm sorry momma. I f-failed you. I failed C-car car. Don't leave me" At this point autumn began screaming the words coming out of her mouth.

"Autumn! Autumn! Wake up!! it's just a dream baby. It's just a dream" Carson held her while rubbing her back and kissing her forehead.

Slowly Autumn relaxed into his arms and even cuddled closer to him.

Before Autumn fully calmed down, one last thing left the small girls lips.

"Don't leave me Car. I love you" Just those few words caused his walls he had built up for years, to crumble.
