After what felt like hours, we had finally reached my house.
The whole ride a comfortable silence had taken over surprisingly. At some point i tried to turn on the radio but my hand was slightly smacked and pushed away.
I hurried and opened the door and rushed out of the car. Before i got far a cry escaped my mouth as i fell. I completely forgot about my ankle.
I couldn't even get up before Carson was out of the car and near me. "Are you okay A? What happened?" He asked while looking for scraps or any injuries.
I hurried and pushed him away and scooted away. "i-Im good. Chill don't worry. Just tripped" I said with a fake laugh before pushing myself up and standing with all the pressure on only one of my feet.
"Are you sure?" He grumbled still looking at him suspiciously. I give a quick nod before starting to walk inside. Every step i could feel myself flinch from the pain.
I couldn't get far before i was scooped up into someone's arms, Carson's arms. A yelp escaped my mouth at the sudden movement.
"Don't fucking lie to me again" Growled Carson while he continued walking to the house.
I almost began arguing with him about carrying me but the lack of pressure on my ankle was such a sweet relief.
I finally could feel my tense body relax and a loud sigh escaped my lips.
I looked around to see my parents car gone. I could feel my heart break a little due to them not even caring enough to stay and make sure i was okay. But what's new?
I wanted to cry and scream but i couldn't. This numb feeling began to swallow me as we got closer to the house. I wasn't enough for them to stay and i never would be.
I could feel myself slowly drift away into my own little world. It was such a weird feeling.
I could feel myself being placed onto a bed or maybe a couch and i could hear someone talking or more like yelling which i can only assume is Carson yelling at me. I couldn't understand a single word that did come out though. The weirdest thing was my eyes. My eyes were wide open but it was just.. black.
I could feel my body being shaken slightly and Carson's yelling come to a stop.
Slowly my eyes began to flutter shut. I couldn't tell due to it being black anyways but i could feel the soft movement.
After that, it was lights out for me.
