Long Way Home-Fivesace

"Kissing at the stop signs darling, Green Day's on the radio."

Our banter went on like that for the rest of the night, both of us spewing out riduculous and hilarious facts, as well as the occasional book title, and plot. "I'm so full, and I don't feel like going home." I comment as I get into the car, outstreching my arms.

"Same here," He shoots me a boyish grin. "so, you wanna go out for a drive?"

"To where?"

"Whereever my full tank of gas takes us, and if we get lost I have a GPS." I contemplate the idea, then nod, "alright, let's go!"

We drive for a few minutes, the moon the only thing lighting up the sky, and the top of Harry's car down. I have my jacket swaddled around me, but I can't deny the fact that the fresh air feels nice. "Turn on the radio." He commands, and I press a few buttons and we soon hear The 1975's Girls.
"
What song is this?" I turn to him, mouth agape.

"I said 'No!'
'Oh give it a rest, I could persuade you'
'I'm not your typical, stoned 18 year old'
'Give me a night I'll make you'
'I know you're looking for salvation in the secular age, but girl I'm not your savior'
Wrestle to the ground.
God help me now because," I completely ignore him and sing at the top of my lungs. "They're just girls breaking hearts
Eyes bright uptight, just girls
But she can't be what you need if she's 17
They're just girls."

"Is it almost over," he groans as I attempt and fail to dance to the song. "Nope, I guess not."

"Shouldn't you be fucking with somebody your age instead of making changes?" I hold out the a sound in changes as keep singing/yelling along with the song until it finishes.

"You should be on The Voice, babe." He jokes, and then Centuries by Fall Out Boy comes on. Harry slowly starts to move faster, and I have no idea where the hell we are, but I couldn't care less and we belt out the lyrics to the song, making sure only the moon can hear us at this point.

"Do. do, do, do ,do, do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do." I make the background noises as he sings the chours, with that awesome voice of his. "Are you fucking shitting me right now?" Let It Go comes on and I reach to turn it off, but he stops me.

"Wait for it....." When it hits the chours he sings, "Fuck you all! Fuck you all, I can't take your shit anymore," I start to giggle, "fuck you all, fuck you all, you're as smart as a door. Here I stand, and I will say, you're a diumbass. . .your shit never bothered me anyways."

"Is that an indirect to Tori and Valerie?" He nods, and I grin, "that was beautiful." I clap amd wipe away fake tears.

"Resdy for the chorus again?"

"Fuck you all! Fuck you all, I can't take your shit anymore. Fuck you all, fuck you all, you're as smart as a door! Here I stand, and I will say, you're a dumbass. . .your shit never bothered me anyways." We harmonize, and throw our heads back into the, the air nipping at my ears and running through my hair.

We sing a bunch of songs together, including Home, Stay With Me, Best I Ever Had (well, more me on that one because he had no clue what the song was,he just hummed along to the beat.) and we're finally parked on some hillside, and both of our lips are totally swollen.

The radio is still playing, a song, and he changes the station, and stops when he hears those familiar chords. "Say something I'm giving up on you."

"I'll be the one, if you want me to."

"Anywhere I would've followed you."

"Say something, I'm giving up on you!"

We sing loudly, espically in the last chours. We sing it at the top of our lungs, him sounding amazing and me sounding like a horrid dog, but both of us grinning and laughing and acting like we were 18 again.

And gosh, I've never felt happier.

Nothing can possibly go wrong.
