    "I'm human, but I'm also not human." I get back onto the roof and let my back face him, I can't look at him. My voice is shaky, my words are rushed, and tears are trickling down ,my face, but now I realize there's no turning back now. "I'm an angel, because humans are so beautifully self destructive
but my job is to build and not destroy." I turn around, and face Niall.

"I don't understand??" I turn around and walk over to him, lightly grabbing his wrists.

"I'm the girl who protected you from most bad things. I've saved your life multiple times, without you even knowing it. Do you understand now?" He nods slightly.

"This makes sense, maybe that's why I feel so much safer around you." He pauses, "You don't have a halo or anything on, you curse —" I laugh, interrupting him.

"Not all of us are like the angels you see I'm story books."

"Just tell me everything. It's going to take some time, getting used to, but just tell !me everything."

"You're not mad?"

"No," I sit down on some wooden crates and he sits down next to me, taking me in his arms,  "Before you say anything, let me just tell you I'm sorry. You've put up with me, and I'm sorry. I'm sorry I can't give you everything you deserve, because you deserve the world and everything in it, and I can only give you a part of it, so I'm sorry.

But," he looks at me, and weakly smiles, "I'm listening."

tbh, i think this is one of my favorite scenes in the whole book so far?? maybe because nina is the first to tell, and remember, the angels aren't supposed to say anything.

and niall and nina aw aw aw relationship goals kinda sorta (maybe because im not an angel therefore the chances are high that if i jump off a building, i wont survive.)

okay, who's excited for Four and 1D Day? I fucking have school. smh, but hopefully i can watch it on the weekend.
