I breathed in the songs
I breathed in the autumn leaves
It lifts up my spirit
Setting me completely free
This is as good as I can be
As passive as you'll ever see me
Not eating in greed
Or seeing all that can't be
I'll be standing here
Beside the big old oak tree
And whisper some tunes
Extravagantly
I am at peace
Unlike the days I even screeched
The tree smiles at me
Telling me I'm doing just fine
Of course I am
I'm not so blind
I can see all that passes by
The humming silence
So beautiful
