I don't want to mess up,
Fall and break into a million pieces,
Where I would be stepped on,
Or buried in a pile of stained dirt,
And frowned upon by the universe,
Because of my inevitable inadequacy. If I fall and break,
I want to be picked up by warm hands,
And put back together piece by piece,
Treated with care and love,
Even if I'm a century worth of repair. And when I'm fixed,
I want to feel alive again,
Instead of a broken doll
With no hope of being whole
Or perfect.Everytime I fall it should be a journey
Instead of a shameful thing
To hide from the world.
Because falling alone is like dying,
And being fixed is like coming back to life.
