Chapter 7: The Lying Cherry Tree
(Third Person Point of View)

Sugawara Koushi was in the maids' chambers, sleeping and currently dreaming about being a famous entertainer in the kingdom of Vorona instead of being stuck in the palace halls serving his troublesome companions. 

It was currently four in the morning, and Sugawara felt like something was shaking him.

"Wake up, Sugawara-san. Wake up and be alive."

An angel....? Coming to free me off this hapless place?

Sugawara opened one eye.

A demon?!

No, it was just the monarch of this kingdom named Kageyama Tobio, who was born with a sinister face.

Sugawara rubbed his sleepy eyes. Damn, what did King Tobio want with him at four in the fucking morning.

"What is the matter, King Kageyama?"

Kageyama bows his head. "I want to get married."

W-wait, what the fuck?! Is he asking for my hand in marriage? What kind of sick prank is this?

"K-king Kageyama, what on earth do you mean?"

"The knights of the round table are all idiots, so I figured I should ask the staff working behind the palace grandeur. Please help me get married, Sugawara-san."

It is obviously not me. Because there is no way, duh.

"With who?"

"Dumbass Hinata."

Azumane Asahi and Sawamura Daichi who were also present in the room, almost fell from their bunk bed when they heard Sugawara's loud 'HAAAAAAAAAAA?!'

"CONGRATULATIONS, KING! YOU FINALLY REALISED IT! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!"

Daichi was scratching his head. "What is going on?"

Sugawara was smiling brightly. "King Kageyama is finally marrying Hinata!"

Asahi almost passed out due to shock while Daichi was clapping his hands proudly. "I am so proud of you, king!"

"So?" Sugawara was still excited. "When did Hinata say 'yes'?"

King Tobio blinks. "Said yes to what?"

"Wait..." Daichi narrows his eyebrows. "Are you telling me, you are planning for a wedding when you have not even asked Hinata to marry you?"

"...You need to do that?"

Daichi facepalms. "Of fucking course, there will be no wedding when Hinata says no!"

Asahi tries to calm down a frustrated Daichi. "Daichi, I am sure Hinata would say yes, though..."

Sugawara's faith unwavered. "Change of plans! We are going to do a proposal banquet first instead of a wedding banquet. The wedding banquet may follow but we need an engagement party. King Kageyama, make sure to ask Hinata to marry you, okay?"

"...Yes.. Thank you... I knew I could count on you guys."

The kitchen staff were busy, with Sugawara taking command on what to cook and what to do. He especially told them not to forget meat buns, milk, and barbecue. The Knights of the Round Table were also secretly overjoyed about hearing such a banquet.

The Knights were whispering loudly as they put decorations for a romantic candle lit dinner.

"Ryuu," Nishinoya calls out. "I heard that the king is finally proposing to Shouyou tonight."
