Ruby asked her pointed ear twitching. "Oh they went to some training," Nora said putting her game down. "So why are ya here?" Nora asked. Weiss was sitting at her desk she looked at Ruby a small smile appearing on her face. "H...hey Weiss what's...up?" Ruby asked with a small smile forming on her lips. "Nothing I just finished studying where were you?" Weiss asked. "Oh I was just talking with Nora and phyrra," Ruby said sitting Weiss's bed. A awkward silence filled the room "s...so Weiss I....was wondering... If you wanted to go...get some coffee I...know a good café," Ruby asked her heart beating quickly. "Sure...why not I could use some coffee," Weiss said getting up stretching out her arms yawning. "Let me just go change," Weiss said walking twords the bathroom. Ruby just nodded as Weiss walked into the bathroom. A big dorky smile came across Ruby's face as she danced around the room. She changed into some casual clothes

Ruby blushed as she stared at Weiss "um Ruby you alright?" Weiss asked waving her hand in front of Ruby's face. Ruby snapped out of it "o...oh! Sorry I spaced out for a moment," Ruby muttered. Weiss giggled causing Ruby's heart to skip a beat "c'mon you dolt let's go get that coffee," Weiss said walking twords the door with Ruby following the ivory haired girl. The two girls took a airship to Vale chatting all the way. When the airship landed they made there way to the café Ruby talked about. Ruby ordered a coffee with cream and five sugars and a plate of cookies. Weiss ordered a coffee with a cream and a strawberry shortcake. Ruby gobbled up her cookies "Ruby...can I ask you something?" Weiss asked the cookie loving vampire. "Oh sure what is it?" Ruby asked taking a sip of her coffee. Weiss stared into her coffee before speaking "why...why did you ask me to coffee?" Weiss asked her icy blue eyes staring into Ruby's silver eyes. Ruby was kinda surprised by Weiss's question. "Well...I wanted to spend time with my best friend..." Ruby said tilting her head slightly with a big smile. Weiss blushed as she took a bite of her strawberry shortcake. Ruby and Weiss finished their food leaving walking down the dark sidewalk. Ruby noticed the park "oh! Weiss can we go in the park please?" Ruby asked using puppy eyes. Weiss giggled before sighing "fine," Weiss said as they walked into the park. The two girls walked through the dark park. Ruby hummed Weiss's favorite song causing Weiss to giggle. The red and white duo sat down on a bench. Weiss heard Ruby's stomach grumble "damnit...I knew I should've drank some blood before we left," Ruby said holding her stomach. Weiss stared at her for a moment before taking out a small pocket knife. Weiss cut her finger just feel enough for some blood to drip out "here..." Weiss said with a small smile on her lips. Weiss nodded Ruby stuck her fang in Weiss's cut sucking some of Weiss's blood. When Ruby was done she took a band-aid out of her pocket wrapping it around Weiss's thumb. "Thank you Weiss," Ruby said licking the blood off her fangs. Weiss blushed as she watched Ruby "does it hurt?" Ruby asked still holding Weiss's hand. Weiss blushed "n...no...it's fine," Weiss mumbled Ruby smiled relieved "good..." Ruby said staring into Weiss's eyes. A silence fell apon the two girls neither knowing what to say or do. Ruby remembered phyrras words "w...Weiss... I...have to...tell...you something...." Ruby muttered looking into Weiss's eyes. "What is it...?" Weiss asked Ruby was silent for a moment thinking of what to say. "I...I...." Ruby suddenly grabbed Weiss's collar kissing Weiss's lips. Ruby rested her hands on Weiss's shoulders. Ruby could hear Weiss's heartbeat speed up ,and she could feel Weiss's blood flow faster through her veins. Ruby suspected Weiss to push her away she definitely didn't expect Weiss to wrap her arms around the vampires neck. Ruby pulled away looking into Weiss's eyes. Ruby snapped out of her daze "IM SO SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY!!" Ruby yelled burying her face in her hands. Ruby was surprised when she felt Weiss's hand on her shoulder. Ruby looked at Weiss with wide eyes Weiss was smiling warmly. "Ruby...I...I love you..." Weiss whispered hugging Ruby tightly. "Y...you...love....me...?" Ruby asked shocked Weiss answered her question with a passionate kiss. Ruby slowly closed her eyes wrapping her arms around Weiss's waste. Ruby and Weiss stared into each others eyes "I love you shorty," Ruby whispered. "I love you too," Weiss mumbled "hey I'm not short!" Weiss yelled. Ruby giggled "your height begs to differ," Ruby teased sticking out her tongue. Weiss smiled warmly kissing Ruby's cheek. Ruby smiled "c'mon we should get home," Ruby said standing up extending her hand to Weiss. "M'lady~" Ruby said bowing like a prince would. Weiss chuckled "you dork," Weiss said taking the young vampires hand. They walked back to the airship dock "hey Ruby..." Weiss began. "Yes short-stack~" Ruby said slightly teasing Weiss. "um...can we keep this between us for now...I just don't want the others to question is just yet..." Weiss said squeezing Ruby's hand. "Of course weissy~" Ruby said kissing Weiss's cheek. "Any thing for you..." Ruby said smiling sweetly.
