Yangs POV:
Blake and I browsed through the medical section. We were looking for the potion that Neptune must've used on Weiss. "I think I found something!" Blake said excitedly. I sit down at one of the tables Blake reads the book. "Here...the potion Neptune must've used is made with a rare flower called...violumen...it can only be found in the managerie desert," Blake said pointing at the picture of the flower. "That son of a bitch...is there a cure?" I asked hopefully. Blake read a bit more "yes...but it's made with rare ingredients," Blake said putting the book down.

Emerald Forest
Ruby's POV:

Barren and I walk through the forest looking for the ingredients for the cure. "So kiddo I...just wanted to apologize for turning you into a vampire..." Barren muttered rubbing the back of his neck. I sigh "it's fine I actually kinda like the cool powers," I say with a small smile. He runs his fingers through his red hair. Barren spots something he reached into his bag grabbing a small shovel from his satchel. He digged up a small weird looking root "here we go...this is a filopian root it's for the cure," he cheered happily. I smile excited that we were closer to getting Weiss back. "Thank you Barren...I really appreciate it..." I say hugging him. Barren hugged me back ruffling my hair "no problem kiddo," he said punching my shoulder playfully. "I'll go look over here you go look by that pond ok," he said pointing to a small pond. I nod walking over to the pond looking around I looked at the picture of what I was looking for. "The malikenta weed..." I repeated to myself. I look around noticing a small lizard eating the weed I was looking for. I begin to chase me "come here you little bastard!" I yell chasing the small reptile. I finally catch him he squirms in my hand I pull the weed out of his mouth. I let him go putting the weed in my bag "got it..." I walked back to Barren who had another ingredient. "Good job kid...I got the iknis seed," he said holding up a dark blue seed. My heart skips a beat with joy "how much more do we need?" I asked. "Just one more thing," he said with a grin I sigh in relief as tears of joy fill my eyes. "Thank you so much Barren...I owe you so much..." I say hugging him once more. As we walk I ask "so where is this next ingredient?" I asked. "Well...the last ingredient is a... beowolf tooth..." He said with a awkward smile. "What!?" I shout Barren smiled "don't worry kid leave it to me," he said pulling out a battle axe. We make it to a cave "this is a beowolf den stay here..." He said handing me the bag of ingredients as he walked into the cave. I heard grimm howling and slashes I smirked "idiot..." I mumble to myself. He walks back out with his hand behind the back. He smile handing me three beowolf teeth "thanks Barren..." I say fist bumping him. We both morphed into our bat forms flying back to beacon. As we walk through the courtyard to get to the chemistry lab I notice Weiss and Neptune. I freeze watching her kiss his cheek I clench my fist as tear well up in my eyes. Barren places his hand on my shoulder "let's go kid..." He said leading me to the chemistry lab. We walk into the lab he pulls a big cauldron "fill this with water and light a fire I'll get the ingredients," he said walking over to a table. I fill the cauldron with water lighting a fire placing the cauldron over the fire. I think back to Weiss kissing Neptune I clench my jaw as I stir the water. Barren comes over pouring the ingredients into the cauldron I stir the ingredients. "How long will this take?" I asked Barren looked up from his book "it should take a few moments," he said. The door opens Barren and I look up to see yang and Blake. "Oh hey yang hey Blake..." I say continuing to stir the ingredients. Yangs eyes look to Barren "who is he?" She asked sternly. "Blake...yang this is Barren Lumen...the same guy who turned me into a vampire..." I admit with a awkward smile. Yang glares at him "don't worry he's helping me make a cure for Weiss...I trust him," I say smiling to Barren. Yang sighs "if you trust him...I trust him..." She said with a warm smile Blake nods. After a few minutes the antidote is finished "so how do we get Weiss to drink it?" Blake asked. I thought for a moment "Weiss drink a coffee every morning we could slip it in her coffee when she isn't looking..." I suggested. "Good idea sis all we have to do is wait till morning," yang said with a thumbs up.

The next morning

I wake up before Weiss along with yang and Blake. Blake makes Weiss's coffee while I pour in the antidote. "It's ready..." Blake says handing the coffee to yang. Weiss wakes up at that moment I nod to yang signaling for her to go. Yang walks over to Weiss "here you go Weiss..." Yang says handing Weiss the coffee. "Thank you yang," Weiss say happily sipping the coffee. Yang, Blake, and I surround Weiss "um...what are you guys looking at...?" Weiss asked confused. We wait a moment before Weiss faints "Weiss!" I shout catching her in my arms. "She'll be fine..." Barren said climbing in through the window. "Barren how long will the antidote take?" I asked worriedly. "Shouldn't take to long," Barren said crossing his arms while he leaned against the dresser. "Hmmm...r...Ruby....?" Weiss's voice said groggily. "WEISS!!" I yell hugging her tightly "w...what happened...?" She asked in a dazed and confused voice. "Neptune used a love potion on you...you kissed him..." I inform her still holding her. Weiss's eyes widened she looked down "I...I'm so sorry..." She whispered. "Hey it's ok...it wasn't your fault," I whisper kissing her forehead. Suddenly a knock came from the door I let go of Weiss as I walked to the door. I opened the door coming face to face with Neptune "oh...hello Ruby...where is Weiss?" He asked smugly. I lose it I punch him as hard as I can. He flys back into the wall "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE YOU DICK!!" I screamed at him my eyes going red. Weiss walks next to me Neptune's eyes filled with hope. "Weiss, baby will you tame this beast," he yelled with a smug smile. "I'm not your "baby" you drugged me Blake already informed ozpin...I suggest you leave," Weiss said sternly Neptune looks shocked but runs off. I sigh in relief "Ruby I-" I cut Weiss off with a kiss. We kiss for a few moments forgetting Blake, yang, and Barren were there. "Ah young love~" Barren teases "shut up Barren!" I yell pulling away from Weiss as I smirk. Weiss looks at Barren confused "who...is he?" Weiss asked. "Oh Weiss this is Barren Lumen...he helped me make your cure...and he's the guy who turned me into a vampire," I said casually. Weiss looked at him "nice to meet you Barren...thank you," she said with a kind smile.

One hour later

"Well kiddo I have to leave now..." Barren said picking up his bag. I sigh "it was nice to meet you Barren...and thank you for everything," I said hugging him. "No problem kid," he said ruffling my hair "I live in patch...come visit sometime," he said waving as he morphed into a bat flying of into the horizon. I walk back to my dorm I see sun in the hall. "Hey sun!" I call waving to him. "Hey Ruby what's up?" He asked fist bumping me. "Nothing much I was wondering what happened to Neptune?" I asked with a serious expression. Sun's expression darkened a bit "he was sent home...good riddance he's not in our team anymore...I guess we're team SSS now...heh..." He jokes a bit. I chuckle a bit "thanks for telling me sun...I got to go now I'll see you later," I said walking away waving. I enter my door room quietly since it was late. Yang and Blake were gone I looked to see Weiss lying in her bed. I smile closing the door behind me "hey princess..." I whisper. Weiss looked up smiling warmly "hey Ruby..." She whispers back. I walk over taking off my cape lying down next to her. I lay there cuddling close to her "I missed you..." I whisper hoping she didn't hear me. "What do you mean...?" Weiss asked "when Neptune took you away...It felt like he took a part of me..." I whispered as tears filled my eyes. Weiss lifted my chin so I was looking at her "I'm so sorry Ruby...I feel for his trick...I should've known better... I'm sorry..." She muttered. I cup her cheek with my hands "it's not your fault Weiss...it's his...I'll always love you...I love you so much..." I whisper kissing her hand tenderly. Weiss giggles "you big flirt..." She whispers playfully kissing me pationatly. "I love you Ruby..." She whispered kissing my forehead. I smiled "I love you too..." I whispered as we both laid down closing our eyes. "Goodnight princess..." I whispered but Weiss was already asleep.
