Ruby sat in the garden behind the sparring arena. Ruby hummed as she wrote a letter to her father.

Dear dad
I know I haven't wrote in a while...it's probably because I've been really busy.
I've been doing well in my classes so has yang. I really miss you and zwei I hope you're doing ok without me and yang. You probably like life without me and yang screaming every ten seconds. Oh! I was wondering if yang and I can bring our team for spring break? Me and yang want you to meet them. Well write me soon we send our love. Love you dad!

Ruby finished her letter with a small hum "done! now to send this," Ruby whispered to herself. Ruby morphed into a bat flying to the postal office. The red cloaked vampire hid in a ally as she transformed back into her human form. Ruby walked into the post office "hey Al can ya send this to my dad's place?" I ask Al who went to signal academy with me. "Sure thing rubes nice to see ya again," Al says taking my letter handing it to a alligator faunus "wow I wonder what's like to have teeth like that" Ruby wondered as she stared at him. "S...so Ruby...you uh still single...?" He ask rubbing his neck. Ruby stared at him for a moment "are...you asking me on a date," Ruby asked tilting her head. "Y..yeah!" Al asked his voice cracking slightly. "Sorry Al I have a girlfriend," Ruby said with a proud smile. "Oh....that's fine I'll see ya later," he said with a pained look in his eye. Ruby waved as she walked out the door "later Al!" Ruby yells walking out the door. "Oooh friend zoned," the alligator faunus mocked Al. "Shut up Greg!" Al yelled at his co-worker. Ruby walked back to the airship dock taking the ship back to Beacon. Ruby sat on the airship when her scroll buzzed. Ruby pulled out her scroll "oh! It's weissy" Ruby's heart fluttered as she read the text.

"Hey babe I made you cookies they're waiting for you hurry back love you ♥️💙"

Ruby smiled texting Weiss back

"Thanks babe, I can't wait I love you too can't wait to see you weissy💙♥️"

Ruby texted back with a big smile on her face. Ruby put her scroll away when it ringed again. "Did Weiss reply?" Ruby wondered seeing who was calling. "Oh it's yang". "What's up sis?" Ruby asked tapping her foot on the metal floor. "Hey sis so did you send a letter to dad?" Yang asked. "Yep! I'm on my way back from the post office," Ruby explained. Ruby looked out the window seeing that she was landing "oh I gotta go yang I'm landing I'll see you later love ya," Ruby exclaimed before hanging up. Ruby walked through the halls listening to her music. *Growl* Ruby's stomach growled "ugh... hungry....hmmm Weiss blood..." Ruby thought hungrily licking her lips. Ruby walked to her dorm walking through the door. "Hey Ruby here are the cookies," she says handing the hungry vampire a plate of cookies. Ruby took the cookies placing them aside "I'm hungry for something else~" Ruby flirted grabbing Weiss's chin. Weiss's face went dark red "f...fine just get it over with," Weiss mumbled embarrassed. Ruby pulled aside Weiss's shirt seeing she still had hickeys from last night. Ruby sunk her fangs into Weiss's skin drinking her blood. After a few moments Ruby pulled her fangs away from Weiss's neck. "Hmmm tasty~" Ruby purred into Weiss ear. Ruby wiped the blood away from Weiss's neck.

Two days later

Yang, Blake and Weiss chilled in their dorm enjoying the quiet... until Ruby burst through the door. "Yang! Dad wrote back!" Ruby exclaimed holding a envelope. "Yeah! Open it!" Yang cheered pumping her fist in the air. Ruby ripped open the envelope quickly "he said yes!" Ruby cheered excitedly. "What is it," the snow haired heiress asked as Blake looked up from her book. "Our dad said you two can come with us to our house for spring break," Ruby said enthusiastically as she danced around the room. "Sounds fun," Weiss said putting her scroll away "sure why not," Blake said casually. "Cool we can leave tomorrow start packing," Ruby shouted with a big smile on her face.
