Ruby's POV:
I sat watching as other students fought against each other as professor goodwhich watched. The two students finished their round "decent form work on your weapon a bit more," Glynda said looking at her clipboard. "Next is Ruby Rose vs Cardin Winchester," said Glynda looking in my direction. I stood up with a smirk on my face "time for some payback" I thought walking to the sparring grounds. Cardin had a smug smirk on his face "good luck...freak," he whispered the last part so Glynda wouldn't hear. I took out crescent rose starring into his eyes "3...2....1 begin!" Glynda shouted. Cardin made the first move, he attempted to swing his mace at me but I quickly dodged it. I managed to graze his cheek with crescent roses blade. I kicked his back sending him flying he stopped himself from going over the edge. He brought his mace down only for it to collided with crescent rose. I smirked as I swept his leg causing him to fall dropping his mace. He tried to get up but, I held crescent rose to his throat causing him to raise his hand in submission. Professor goodwitch placed her hand on my shoulder with a proud smile "well done miss Rose I will inform professor Ozpin of your victory," she said with a small smile. At that moment the bell rang "class dismissed!" Glynda shouted dismissing the class to free time. I walked back to my friends "good job sis!" yang cheered wrapping her arm around my shoulder. "you did great," Blake said as she held Yang's hand. Weiss just smiled and held my hand which I didn't mind at all. "Hey guys wait up!" Jaune shouted as him and his team caught up with us. "That was a amazing fight Ruby," Jaune was the first to speak. "You should've broken his legs that would've been awesome!" Nora cheered in her usual energetic tone. "Nora...we talked about this you can't break peoples legs," Ren sighed patting Nora's head to calm her down. "I must admit it was rather amusing seeing cardin angry when her lost," Phyrra admitted with a calm grin. I noticed a faint blush on Juanes cheeks as he stared at phyrra. "heh 'we're just friends' my ass" I thought as Jaunes eyes met mine, I smirked as his face turned bright red. I turned my gaze back to Weiss she has a calm smile displayed on her lips. I gently squeeze her hand causing her to look at me with loving eyes. Weiss stands on her tippy toes to kiss my cheek, I always found it adorable how much taller I am then Weiss. I chuckle to myself at the thought, I notice a poster on the wall. I walk over to it studying what it said "come to the dance on Sunday..." I muttered to myself. No one else noticed I was starring at the poster, I glanced at Weiss as she laughed at something Yang said. "dance eh...." I thought as I ran to catch up with them. I decided to walk to one of my favorite spots to relax. The garden one of my favorite spots on campus. I sat down pulling out my journal sketching Weiss and mytenaster. I sat there for a few hours just drawing my friends and writing facts about them and their weapons. It ws a hobbies of mine to write down grimm, plants, people, and weapons I come across...I was always mocked for it but, I never really cared. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the bell "shit! i'm gonna be late" I thought as I ran to prof-I mean Doctor Ooblecks class. I burst through the door everyone's eyes landed on me Dr. Oobleck starred at me "miss Rose you are late care to explain why?" he asked in his usual fast tone. "S...sorry sir...I just lost track of time..." I muttered shyly as I felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment. He starred at me for a moment "very well just don't let it happen again," he said turning back to the board. I sat down in my seat embarrassed. Cardin and his friends laughed I sighed trying my best to pay attention. I felt Weiss place her hand on my thigh I turned red "W...Weiss what...are you doing!?" I whispered my cheeks burning at this point. Weiss just smirked and took her hand off my thigh and held my hand under the desk with a small smirk plastered on her face. My cheeks went back to normal although they were still a little pink as I starred at the board. I couldn't help but think about the dance "when should I ask Weiss...will she even wanna go...?" I questioned as I starred into Weiss's icy eyes. I decided that I would ask her when classes were over.

Time skip
Weiss's POV:

I walked back to my dorm alone since Ruby said she had to talk to yang. I walked into my dorm setting my bag on the desk as I sighed. I felt something scratching my leg, I looked down to see Zwei. I smiled "hey buddie..." I whispered petting his soft ears. I sat down on my bed, Zwei hopped on my bed with me resting his head on my lap. "Heh you remind me of Ruby..." I whispered to the small corgi. He just yawned and sat on my pillow as I sat there my mind began to wonder. "I wonder what Ruby wanted to talk to yang about...she seemed a bit...flustered" I thought as I laid down on my comfy bed. My eyes began to feel heavy as I began to drift off, I closed my eyes as I fell asleep.
