I was sitting downstairs in Anteiku. It was my day off so I was just lounging about. I had agreed earlier today to help Kaneki with some gift for Hinami so I had to wait for him to get off his shift. Soon enough however, Ryouko and Hinami where off. Hinami was wearing some of Touka's clothes, I could smell her on them... that sounds weird. 

Kaneki: Going somewhere?

Hinami: Yeah! Sen Takatsuki is having a book signing! 

Ryouko: She practically begged me to go

Kaneki: Well have fun. I'll get some coffee ready for when you get back 

Ryouko: Thank you

They then left. I watched them walk down the road until they turned a corner 

Kaneki: You feeling ok Y/n?

Y/n: Huh? Yeah I'm fine

I had been watching Blackwatch movements every so often, one was coming from where Ryouko and Hinami had just turned the corner. They wouldn't ID me as I had been changing things about my regular appearance. Hair colour, length, style, the style of clothing I wear etc. You see, blackwatch doesn't look for your face, not with us. It's always how we act and dress. 

As blackwatch was walking by, I could overhear them talking about something

BW1: I need you to call in the purge team should we encounter Thanatos. The rest of you, keep your distance

BW2: Sir, what is the purge team?

BW1: I don't know. I was just told to call it in

I stopped paying attention after that. 

Kaneki: They didn't see you

Y/n: Nope, they don't care much for what we look like. We can shape shift remember 

Kaneki: Yeah. I'm almost off my shift. You ready to go?

Y/n: Yep

I got up and stretched. A few minuets later, Kaneki was ready to go. We left towards the shopping area thing. Unfortunately it started raining, I quickly stepped under a overhang before getting out an umbrella that Kaneki had brought for me. Soon enough we were once again underway. We were happily chatting along the road. Across the road I spotted Hinami... crying. Wait where's Ryouko

Hinami: Kaneki!

She called out from across the road. I already leaped over the barrier and was performing flips over cars before reaching her. I placed a hand on her back and soon enough Kaneki was here

Kaneki: What's wrong

Hinami: They got mommy!

I got up and ran up a building before sending out a hunting pulse. A back ally down the street. I signaled for Kaneki to move but he was already being dragged by Hinami. They reached the ally before I did, just as Ryouko died I jumped down, a mask made of biomass on my face. It fit my title as Thanatos. A skull

Dove1: Well, who are you?

Ah, I've seen him on the news

Y/n: Investigator Mado is it? 

Mado: Interesting, you know who I am

Dove2: Sir, should we engage?

Y/n: Who's the lackey?

Mado: Hold now Amon. Let us find out a little about this one first 

Y/n: I'd run were I you
