So, what should I do? I was sitting in Antekiu just trying to think of what to do. I hadn't figured out Heller's plan just yet. If he wanted to match me, then he would've set up a hive. That hasn't happened yet. So... maybe he thinks Aogiri Tree can take me on? I mean... it's possible but I wouldn't put my hopes on it.

Yoshimura came up next to me, seeing me just gaze out the window. Some helicopters were flying over the centre of the city, where we suspected the Blackwatch HQ to be.

Yoshimura: Y/n, what is it you're considering?

Y/n: Among other things, the danger to this city. Heller has to do something lest he is outgunned by us... I just don't know what he's done

Yoshimura: While I cannot help you with that... perhaps you should take time to calm yourself and consider simply bettering yourself

Damn that old man and his "insightful" speeches and whatnot. He has a point, perhaps I should focus on trying to better my situation instead of trying to hinder Heller. The door of Antekiu once again ripped me from my thoughts. Alex had just walked in, hoodie and all.

Alex: Right, so... Y/n, time I call in that favour. I need you to kill some ghoul in my territory that's causing me issues

Y/n: Can't handle it yourself?

Alex: I'm busy

I shook my head and stood up, making my way to the eighth ward. Alex makes his "home" there, which is little more than a disused Wearhouse on the coast of the city. I'd start my search there. Before I even got to the warehouse I caught a glimpse of someone wearing a blue suit in a construction site. No one was working that place... and given how they seemed to take an interest in me, likely thinking I'm Alex, I guess he's the one.

I made a bee-line for the construction site, where I found... nothing but a faint smell of ghoul and a heat signature taking off out over the other side of the site. First, I'll look around though. I suspect this to be some sort of hideout for Alex's problem.

It didn't take long for me to find an apparent campsite of sorts. A sleeping bag with one of those camping stove things, still hot, and a duffle bag half full of human limbs. Our suspect is definitely a ghoul... now what was he doing?

I checked all around and found nothing, no notes, no personal items... a dead end. I decided to morph myself into a teenager and make duplicates of myself, before getting on one of the many dud phones I carry. I made a call to the CCG

Operative: Hello, CCG call center, how may I help you?

Y/n: Yeah um... oh god. My friends and I were messing about in the construction site in the eighth ward, near the docks. We found a bag full of human limbs

I then made my duplicates make a bunch of noise, one shouting out "Dude! The stove and sleeping bag!"

Y/n: Right... there's also a sleeping bag and camping stove... which is still hot

Operative: And what floor is this?

Y/n: The Seventeenth... wait... did you guys hear that?

I was going to fake these kids deaths, use the limbs as evidence for their bodies and throw the bag on the ocean, I don't want to stick around here when the CCG got here.

Y/n2: Y-yeah... is... is it coming back?

A few screams and slashes later I dropped the phone and stomped on it, before planting the evidence and tossing that bag into the sea, I then ran off in the direction of the ghoul based on smell mostly. Residual heat in a city isn't a thing that really works. Smell only works because this idiot left his sleeping bag here, I could pick up his specific scent.
