I had to council Touka for five hours that night. I answered all her questions, reassured her, and put her worries to rest. Anteiku was closed the next day too, so Camellia, Touka and I decided to do something. Touka was reluctant, mostly due to Camellia being there, but we went. We took Touka up to the tallest building we could find, I brought drinks, a cola for Camellia and I, water for Touka. We sat atop the building, legs hanging over the side. I sat in between the two girls so Touka doesn't kill Camellia

Camellia: Great view

Y/n: Yeah it is

Touka: You do this often?

Camellia: We used to, before he infected me, he'd take me up buildings, from Elizabeth Tower to the Empire State Building

Y/n: Easier times

Touka: Do you think I could survive this fall?

I looked down. We were easily three hundred meters in the air

Y/n: Hell if I know. You do fall, I'll catch you

Touka: Are you flirting?

Camellia: He better not be

Y/n: No, she has eyes for another

Touka blushed for a brief second before getting upset

Y/n: Of course that someone is an idiot

We watched the sun set and talked. Touka began to slowly warm up to Camellia, and Camellia had gone back to her old self. I appreciate that

Touka Ok... strange question, but can you guys have kids?

I looked at Camellia and she looked back, we both shrugged

Y/n: It wouldn't be too hard to engineer a cell for that purpose

Camellia: Both parties would have to want the child though

Y/n: What about with humans?

Camellia: Even easier

Y/n: Ghouls may prove a challenge

Touka: So... that's a yes?

I nodded

Y/n: Why do you ask?

Touka: Well, you're all mysterious. What do I know about you? Your name, what you are, where you're from, your abilities in combat, some of your past... and that's it. It may not even be true. Your personality is a mystery, what you want more so

Camellia: We don't know what we want. We all have sanity issues

Y/n: It comes with the consumption of another

Camellia: Are we really going to tell her?

Y/n: When we consume someone, they don't die. Their mind lives on inside us, we hear their thoughts, their feelings, their desires

Camellia: So yes, we are telling her. It can become difficult for some of the older ones to keep their thoughts separate without taking time to sort it out daily, weekly, monthly. Depends really

Y/n: I am one of the "older ones" she's talking about. I spend fifteen minutes weekly sorting through it all

Touka: You hear them all?

I nodded again, before taking a sip of my cola

Y/n: Of course, we also have the hive, and whenever we consume somebody, we can sort through their memories to make us aware of everything. Otherwise we know it, but don't realise if that makes sense

Camellia: Why don't you tell her how to kill us?

I rolled my eyes

Y/n: She needs the truth, now more than ever. You know that

Camellia: It's almost like you trust her

Touka: Do you? Do you trust me?

Y/n: Loaded question

Camellia: His trusting skills are lacking

Y/n: I trust her to the extent where I will keep her informed

Camellia: Hahahaha! Oh that's like... the best I've gotten from him! Congrats Touka

Touka looked conflicted on my answer. She stared at me intensely as I drank my cola... admittedly I was smiling while doing so but she doesn't know that

Touka: So... that's a yes, you do trust me

Y/n: Take it as you please

Off in the distance, we could see an explosion on what I think would be a motorway... highway to Americans I do believe. Touka jumped up ready to head in there. It was admittedly pretty close. We could see the action on a macro scale, but not the individual, or the kagune used, anything on that scale. Camellia grabbed Touka's shoulder and sat her down

Camellia: Drink your water and watch

She sat down and looked at the ensuing conflict, getting restless a small bit. She wanted to go down, after all it could be Kaneki down there

Touka: Why aren't we going down there?

Y/n: Not our fight. I get that you think it could be Kaneki but that's not a fight you want to get into

Touka: And what if it is Kaneki? Shouldn't we help him

Camellia: No. He's against us for now. We can't help him lest we further our enemies goals

Touka: Kaneki is not our enemy! How could you even...

Y/n: He may not be, but the people he works for are. Risking it is stupid

Touka: Then we bring him back!

Camellia: How naive .And you're supposed to be older than us. Bringing him back is impossible

Touka: So we give up on him? Just like that?

Y/n: No... we wait. We wait until he's alone and we talk. Failing that we kick his ass

Touka mumbled to herself and fell back, laying down and sighing. I guess she didn't want to watch

Camellia: It's getting late... we'd best go, you two have work tomorrow
